I heard some rides squeaking a lot and it's kind of annoying, like waiting in line for The Vortex or Firehawk it was non-stop squeaking.Is it because they got new wheels? or New paint?

I never heard any squeaking while waiting in line for Firehawk. Firehawk definitely didn't get a new paint job it is turning green in numerous places.

I wasn't in X-base so I can't vouch for any of that. Vortex - yes there were some squeals...but a blast once on the ride.

It was really bad coming into the station and it squeaked through out most of the ride.

I was on about 5P.M. Maybe it just had a rough day lol. I really didn't hear it squeak though. Maybe I was just to tired to notice.

I have a friend that operates Firehawk he said it was a squeakin.

I rode Firehawk just after 10am, it was squeaking like crazy. the new paint was in the station area I believe.

My 5 yr old son and I rode shake rattle & roll and noticed Vortex squaking during the corq screw (SP?)

Also The Beast squeaked alot also. I was in the front seat of the 3rd car at about 9:45am.

I would have no clue. Honestly, Vortex is a solid ride. Though most Arrows don't age well, or so I'm told.

I went yesterday where is the new paint cause I didnt notice it. But I did notice green paint from where the ride used to be called X Flight.
