IndyGuy4KI
I just got free tickets to Holiday World. I have never been there before, can anyone suggest the best schedule of ride order in the morning, and is there a better time in the day to get in the queue of a certain ride in the park? Thanks for any suggestions!
dare-to-fly
Ride the coasters later on in the afternoon. The lines are usually longer in the morning and taper off then.
Guest rcfreak339
Go to the water park early when the park opens, and ride the rides later in the day....If The Voyage has a long line, wait. That line flys!
FOFreak
From my many visits to Holiday World, I can tell you that The Voyage, Raven, and Legend peak at the beginning of the day, taper off, then fill back up around the last two hours of the day. Splashin' Safari peaks from 1 'o clock to 4-5 'o clock. And since Pilgrims Plunge is the newest ride there, that should most likely recieve plenty of attention around opening time and then again when it starts to get hot. So my suggestion is to go to ride some flats, until Splashin' Safari opens and hit that early in the morning before the heat picks up and everybody gets hot and comes to the waterpark to cool off. Then when the waterpark starts to fill up, head over to Pilgrims Plunge, and then hit the coasters. After that, you can hit some of the flats that you missed the first time around. Feel free to stop at some of the great eateries around the park also, they have great prices and very good food!
The Interpreter
At the risk of heresy, my food advice is to avoid the pizza (and be sure to try the fudge). That park has the second worst pizza in the industry, in my opinion. The only worse is at a perhaps even more beloved park for many enthusiasts. FOFreak
Oh my gosh? Really? I know it just your opinion, but I absolutely love that pizza! Oh and just in case you love your Starbucks, Holiday World removed all Starbucks brand products from thier menu this season.

dare-to-fly
Oh my gosh? Really? I know it just your opinion, but I absolutely love that pizza! I agree completely! But it's hard to screw up a pizza for me. Most freezer pizzas and CiCi's pizza have figured out how to make me want to hurl, but other than that, I'm an easy to please person.
