Gordon Bombay
I've only managed to ride the crypt once this season (Granted, I have only been to the park twice). Is it just me or does the ride program seem shortened to anyone else? I hadn't been on it in a long time but it felt like they cut 1/3 of the ride out. I've ridden it a few times the past weekends. Cycle is the same as it has been since it reopened in 2008, not any shorter.
HandsUp
Not sure what CP's SkyHawk is called or who makes it...but I'd love to have one of those, and it would fit in that area.
UnrealNightmare
or even just remove it and replace it with a regular top spin with two gondolas (sp?) insted of one sorry if this sounds random, this was to unrealsk8ter's comment about removing the crypt and replacing it with a dark ride I'm not that big of a fan of the Top Spins. They are great and all but I think a ride similiar to Dark Knight would be amazing in the Crypt's building.
The Interpreter
Shhhhh....Cedar Fair will move the mousey at Carowinds*, put it in the Crypt box, and instant Dark Night! Terpy, truthful *Same coaster as Dark Knight

At least the ones I've been on at fairs are unbelievably intense and they don't run the same program all day, so every ride is different. UnrealNightmare
I have ridden other top spins. I'd still prefer a Dark Ride.
Zorba
Even Top Spins at other parks are still much less intense than at Fairs. But I agree with you a dark ride would be a pretty good use of the building. I think putting a top spin inside is dumb, one of the best parts is watching the world go by. UnrealNightmare
I think that's why I don't like the other ones. Watching the world go by makes me sick lol.
Zorba
Yeah I could see how that would make you dislike them
UnrealNightmare
Yeah I have to take a Dramamine just to ride Coasters. But I wont let a little motion sickness kill my love for them. I do however avoid the flats that spin. Like Monster.

Outdoor Man
Holy McCrap. i think there would be many sick individuals getting off that top spin. They should call that one "vertigo."
dare-to-fly
I've seen that before. I think I'd flip! (How was that one, Terpy?) Edited April 30, 2009 by dare-to-fly

AintNutinElse2Do
All this talk about good use for the building. Isn't the building the big eyesore? I mean if your gonna replace what's inside I sure wouldn't want them to keep the big box.
Zorba
I'd prefer the box get scrapped too, or maybe rotated to a different park where I don't have to see it every week.
