DaveStroem
How do they work this? I want to bring some friends but I also want to get in for the ERT. My wife does not ride coasters so after we go in, she could come back out to meet our friends and show the Gold/Platinum cards so they can get the $10 tickets. Is there a way I could pre-purchase the tickets for this? TIA Dave AKA Sulley
rhoustonh
so, my platinum pass holding wife must purchase a $48 dollar ticket for RWW for being a guest but I can bring a friend for $10? Makes no sense. To answer your question, it is one freind per pass holder, both passholders and both freinds must be present at time of purchase. Its both days with lots of extras. To me well worth it:)

To me well worth it:) not saying it is not a good deal, just seems like KI is shutting out some very loyal patrons who purchase season passes year in and year out for not being a member of a coaster club. The choice would seem easy to me, go 30-35 times a year for free, or pay 50 bucks to get special ride times for 2 days? bring a freind day on the same weekend sounds like a nightmare. dwalker26101
Yeah, the times I've been on "bring a friend" days it's been packed! I was bummed when I saw that it was going to be going on durring "our" weekend. The three of us going for Warriors will go in early and then just come out at 10 when ERT is over and get the other three in for the deal. Park doesn't open to the public until ERT is over so it's not like you'll miss anything.
XGatorHead 8904
not saying it is not a good deal, just seems like KI is shutting out some very loyal patrons who purchase season passes year in and year out for not being a member of a coaster club.Well, that's kind of the idea. This is not designed as an event for season pass holders, but for members of coaster/park enthusiast organizations. Many, many parks have held events like this for years for the same or similar groups. It may take KI patrons some getting used to because this is the first time they've held anything like this. Season pass holders are not entitled to everything the park does. If you're a member of one of these groups and you have a season pass, it's a plus that you don't have to pay for admission to it for yourself. I for one am glad that we're even allowed to bring a companion at all, even if they do have to pay extra (not that I'm bringing anyone with me, I plan on hanging out with other KICers those days). The park could have just as easily said no to companions who aren't members of these clubs. Let the season pass holders have the DB ERT every day, and let the enthusiasts have their weekend. I just happen to fall in both groups! Yeah, the times I've been on "bring a friend" days it's been packed! I was bummed when I saw that it was going to be going on durring "our" weekend. The bring a friend days have changed over the years. Back in the Paramount days, it was bring a friend FREE. Those days were nightmares. Now it's bring a friend for $10, and from what I understand they are much lighter in attendance, particularly on Mother's Day which is what this one falls on. DaveStroem
Since she already has a season pass, why not sign up for one of the $20-$25 coaster clubs and then it would be free. Cheaper then paying the $48. Since I joined a few weeks ago, I am not eligable for the KICentral membership. I have been trying to decide if it would be worth it to come down Saturday after work for the DM marathon. This would mean getting a room for the night. I have never riden FH, and the lines for FOF seem to always be long. I think longer then even than DB. I also think that Mother's Day would normally be light attendance and thus KI is putting these events on a light weekend to up the attendance to normal.
