Stitch
I sent an email to Jeff Siebert asking him about the trim brakes after the first drop on Beast seeing if they werre going to be removed now that the track has been retracked. I got this E-Mail today. Eric, The Trim Breaks down the first drop of The Beast where added in the middle of last summer to make the ride more enjoyable for our guests. We know our coaster enthusiasts do not enjoy trim's but they do make the ride smoother. Have a Great Day, Jeffrey Siebert Marketing Communications So It looks like they're here to stay
SOB_TOM
That really didnt surprise me. Anyone else think the turn at the bottom of the hill was smoother?
CantStopCabron
So I take it these "guests" either enjoy getting rammed into the seat when least expected or are made out of porcelain and break very easily. Bugs me when people take a group of three or for people and call them the "public", that's all.

Stitch
Why I dislike these new brakes so much is the spot their in is retarded, I mean you just start going fast then O wait lets slow them down don't want any little ***** having a rough ride, man I hate how PKI caters their rides to little kids it really makes me VERY angry. rollercoaster
Putting the breaks there, and slowing the ride down from the very start, ruins the hole point of riding The Beast. Edited January 1, 1970 by Aaron
Beastfreak
Ok people, those brakes have been there for years before the accident and the change in brake types. I'll dig up the pictures I have of the old brakes on that hill for people who don't believe me. You couldn't notice them as much cause the force wasn't as high. Then they went and changed the brake types and didn't put the trim on the first drop in until August and soon after everyone complained. They could technically turn them down by reducing the magnectic pull between the brake and the car but I'm sure they aren't going to tamper a lot with them. Plus they need to stay there and I think the rest of the ride is still good. Just my thought would be keep the brakes there and add a little bit more before that so that it doesn't get fast then slow, just slow... slow... then fast. AZ Kinda Guy
Beastfreak is right. The trims going down the first drop of Beast have been there for years. It's just the magnetic trims are way more effective. They aren't going anywhere either so I guess you'll have to continue to be disappointed. Call me crazy but I kinda like being "thrown" from the trims going down the drop.
