I just found out a couple days ago that I will take a trip down to St. Louis, so I decided to take a long day to Six Flags St.Louis. So has anyone been there? How is it?

Seriously, Six Flags Over MidAmerica, as it was once known, is a relatively small but fun park. It has a now one year old GCI woody, which I have yet to hit, Evel Knievel, which by all accounts is grand:

Boss is also there, which I like a lot, but many do not. It's...intense. Very intense:

Mr. Freeze, found also only at Six Flags Over Texas, is great fun and has a marvelous queue:

The Batman: The Ride at SFStL is unique, being a mirror image of the original...

Screamin' Eagle can be very moody. Some days it's great, some days it is just lukewarm at best.

Tony Hawk's Big Spin, another ride I have yet to hit, is your standard Six Flags spinning coaster, also found at the Texas Six Flags parks.

I've always liked Six Flags St Louis, but often find it difficult to spend a lot of time there. One of my visits, on a Saturday morning, was less than 30 minutes..then I dashed off for worlds of fun just a bit past the other side of the state. Be aware that it can take a long time to get from Eureka, Missouri to Kansas City, Kansas...

Have fun, and have a caramel apple for me...I seem to remember that park ONCE had great ones (though last time I was there, I could find none...)

Well, I could probably spend my whole day there because, It's a memorial day weekend Saturday with perfect weather so that most likely means huge waits, plus the friends I'm with like to hit up the water park too. I can't wait to ride Batman! That will be my first B&M invert!

Well, I just got back and it was an excellent park! There were no coasters there that are below a 6 in a out of 10 vote. Batman the ride was my first B&M Invert and was incredible, theming was top-notch! 9/10, Ninja was a odd one, I came into it thinking it would beat the living crap out of me but in the end it wasn't bad at all! 6/10, Screamin Eagle was a very good woodie! It gave loads of airtime and it had that old classic feel, 8/10, The Boss was "good" during the day with some pops of airtime but with some rough spots. But at night it's a whole new ride, It was truley incredible at night and really IMO was the same or if not better then night time rides on The Beast. Tony Hawks big spin was a good ride not much to say about it, theming was good and the ride was decent 7/10, Eviel Kenievel was a great wooden coaster and since it was a GCI I excepted it to be great and was nothing less! 9/10 and finally my forite one of the bunch was Mr.Freeze it was a excellent roller coaster, airtime, speed, height. The theming was excellent too! 10/10!

The glow show at the end of the day was really cool and you could tell they put time and effort in to it making it a huge and wonderful show! The candy apples in the main street were amazing and I'm still very suprised they still make them all form scratch! The park is excellent, It was themed perfect! It wasn't really small but the park was oddly laid out making the park have another weird but neat feel to it. I will get to everything in PTR!

this is great to hear, i'm going to st. louis over the summer and really want to go there insted of set at my sisters softball games.

I hope I'm never asked that question. If you've read my TRs, you know that I really don't do shows, though I usually do a meal about noon. Rides are what I'm about.

It's certainly one of mine, and the mid-course is in such a place that it couldn't do much damage if it stopped. Neener neener! Boss comes in at 12, and for anything I can't understand why people whine about it.

Screamin' Eagle is #13 for me at the moment, and is a great ride! The third drop is my favorite.

OK, for those of you who have ridden it, how does Boss compare to POS.. I mean SOB? Can I ride Boss in any seat I wish (not just 1-1 or 1-2 of the red train) and expect to get off without wanting medical attention? I am hoping so, because the RCDB photos look REALLY cool.

Boss is a violent and turbulent ride that many do not like. Those who don't have largely become accustomed to B & M levels of smoothness. As in all woodies, it is best not to sit over a wheel. For Boss, that means the front seats of cars are preferable to the backs, if smoothness be your goal. The trains are very similar to those on Son of Beast...

The Boss is very much smoother than Son of Beast in my opinion, and the airtime is fabulous. I very much enjoyed riding in the back seat.
