wildcat82
Hello all. First post. Heading to on a CP/KI trip next week. Wife and I are pretty excited. After reading the forums here, I have been a little worried about the DB and the issues with people fitting in it. I'm not a huge guy by any means. I'm 6'2" 234 with a 38 waist. I do have larger thighs, but that is about it. Think I'll have issue? Also, I've read that some people have had luck in some seats but not other, any advice there as well? For comparison, from Kansas City, have ridden everything at WoF, everything at Six Flags STL and the Universal Parks in FL. Thanks. Looking forward to next week, will be awesome. markhudson17
Well I'm 6'2", 260 pounds and a 38" waist and I can ride even though it is a tight fit. I think some seats are different because sometimes I'm right at the black line and other times I'm a click or two past. Just try the test seat and go from there. Good luck and have fun. XGatorHead 8904
Waist size is not really an issue on DB. Mine is larger than yours (don't ask me by how much, 'cause I ain't tellin'! ) and I have plenty of belly room. The issue is thigh size. It's a tight fit for me, but the ride ops have always been gracious enough to help get me in. Even with being stapled in, I experience loads of airtime. I've heard varying things about the test seat, how it's not always accurate, etc. You can try it to get an idea. If you get the green light, you'll be fine. If you get the red light, try the actual train anyway. I've heard of people not passing on the test seat but being just fine on the actual coaster. But with your dimensions, I think you should be fine. Have fun, and welcome to KIC!
