KI Kevin
Okay, so I am going on a trip to Cedar Point this year. It will last two days in length. I have conducted two lists. One is of the rides I must ride, and the other is one for rides that are a fun option, but are not priorities. Must Rides: Gemini Magnum XL-200 Mantis Maverick Mean Streak Millennium Force Raptor Top Thrill Dragster Wicked Twister Wildcat Demon Drop Power Tower Skyhawk Optionals: Corkscrew Disaster Transport Iron Dragon Chaos Witch's Wheel Please let me know if any changes should be made to this list. Also, please note that I have already ridden some of thses rides, such as Chaos, Corkscrew, and Iron Dragon. Thanks!
The Interpreter
Wildcat belongs on your must ride list. It may not be around forever. It's an Anton Schwarzkopf, and deserves your attention...I would also add Blue Streak to the must do list...

However, I did ride Blue Streak last time I went (third grade), and I remember it being the most bumpy ride ever. I do not think that I can bring myslef to ride it. Also, do you think I could get them all (must ride) done in two weekdays?
Brandon
I would also add Disaster Transport to your must ride list. It too may not have many years left and it's only 1 of 3 left of it's kind.

I also have ridden that. I remember it being decent, but I may just have to ride it again. And what do you mean by "1 of 3 left of it's kind"? What kind? If your going to be there for most of the two days you probably will be able to(unless you get one of those weird weekdays where the parks packed for no obvious reason). You should have walk ons for at least 6 of those(Gemini,Magnum,Mean Streak,Wicked Twister,Demon Drop, and Power Tower) short waits for 3 of them (Mantis, Wildcat, and Skyhawk) and moderate to long waits for Millennium, TTD, Maverick, and Raptor. Also you may want to add MaXair to your must ride list.
TopThrill
I like your list guitarkevin4life, things I would add are, CorkScrew it was the first to go upside down three times, the wait doesn't get long. Blue Streak, its a great old woodie with lots of air time, and I've heard that this year is really smooth. I would skip Demon Drop, it has metal wheels, and it's rough. Yes WildCat is another good one. Raptors front seat is amazing, it feels like your soaring though the air.
The Interpreter
If you have never done Demon Drop, you really need to. First generation Intamin droprides are far more thrilling than the later ones...at least to me!

There's more than 3 I believe, granted some on this list aren't operating still...: http://www.rcdb.com/ir.htm?model=180 I also believe another company makes a similar ride, but I can't think of who. Either way, they are definitely a rare style ride. I'm not sure it's a must ride if you've ridden, but it is "interesting"
The Interpreter
The other company is Mack. There is only one such installation in the USA, at Kings Dominion, Avalanche. http://www.rcdb.com/ir.htm?model=

First generation Intamin droprides are far more thrilling than the later ones...at least to me! I have not. I kept telling my dad that I wanted to ride it the whole day we were there. So, he insisted that I ride Disaster Transport for a second time with my friend, while he rode Demon Drop with my sister, and said he would ride it later on. At the end of the night, he decided to ride Mantis with my sisters. They got off and said it was horrible.
Touchdown
Some other suggestions: -MaXair (it has a much longer ride sequence then Delirium) -CP&LE Railroad-Real coal trains and the Frontiertown to Main Midway half has Boneville so be sure to at least ride that half -Tilt a Whirl-Located in Camp Snoopy this is by far the best of its kind Ive been on, the thing really spins -Night Rides on MF and Magnum, these rides are even better at night -Calypso-Ive never seen another one like this, its a scrambler tilted at 45 degrees -Cedar Downs-A really unique carousel, that is faster and whose horses not only bob up and down but rock forwards and backwards. westcoaster
must rides: is the boat ride ( forget the name) its cool tour, skyhawk and the racing carousel is a must not many left in the world Disaster transport and demon drop for sure there days / could be numbered:
Brandon
Also get Cedar Creek Mine Ride in, that has had low ridership and is on a good piece of land so its days could be coming to an end too. It's not a great ride, but you might as well get it in. It's a walk on almost always so you won't waste too much time.
violakat03
Two full weekdays at the park, you should be able to ride every single coaster and every single flat ride if you put your mind to it. We did it in four very leisurely days, three of which were practically half days because we left the park for lunch, dinner and even nap breaks. If you don't have a platinum pass, stay at an on-site resort and take advantage of the ERT. It's the only time you will get a less than 30 minute wait for Maverick and walk-on for Raptor. Even Millie will have a fairly short line. Using the ERT, you might be able to get everything in one day, and use day two for re-rides. I'd say there's nothing you should miss out on. Even Woodstock Express is a surprising little coaster. All the flats are great, my favorites are Chaos, Calypso, Matterhorn and Witch's Wheel. Blue Streak is definitely way smoother this year than it was last year, because last summer I thought it was horribly violent, and this summer it actually bumped up into my top ten wooden coasters because it was smooth and had massive air time. PhantomTheater
If you want a nice view of the park, ride the following. -Space Spiral -Giant Wheel -Sky Ride (best to see the gardens, also levitates walking down main midway)
Jasper
I have been to The Point about I'd say 8-10 times and from what I have learned about the rides is this. Must Millennium Force Top Thrill Dragster Magnum XL-200 Maverick Gemini Raptor Demon Drop Skyhawk CP & LE Railroad-Ride it all the way around at least once Blue Streak Power Tower (Upward Launch) Just Missed Must Mantis Iron Dragon Wicked Twister Disaster Transport Power Tower (Down Launch) Mean Streak Cedar Creek Mine Ride Corkscrew
icedripper
If you have never done Demon Drop, you really need to. First generation Intamin droprides are far more thrilling than the later ones...at least to me! yep, one of the most thrilling (or scariest) rides in the park IMO. too bad its been rumored to be on the chopping block for the past several years. Dvo
^Rumored? That ride has been for sale for a long time, they just can't find a buyer. A few issues I have with Jasper's list... Chaos is a must for me, too. One of the craziest flats I've ever ridden. I think your Power Tower launches are backward... down is way better. maXair is a must. Absolutely dominates Delirium. And I'd add Sky Ride to the "just missed must"

Our housing situation is a bit complicated. We are staying on Put-In-Bay in the campground (we have a motorhome). We're catching the first ferries over to the mainland (6:00), with Cedar Point within pretty much walking distance.
PhantomTheater
Where does your ferry land? for if its not at CP marina, you are not within walking distance to the park.
CoastersNSich
When Sky Ride is operational, it is definitely on my "Must" list. Another worth doing when open is the Space Spiral, there's never a line.

You can see Cedar Point from it though. and we're keeping a car on the mainland so we can drive over once we get off.
