10 Things Theme Parks Won't Tell You

Featured Replies

"Hey, I know how I'll get some pageviews! People like to go to amusement parks this time of year, right? I'll put up a article bashing them, with lots of flaws in logic and reason! Kind of like those "FACEBOOK/MYSPACE/TWITTER WILL KILL YER KIDZ!" articles on Fox News!"

Sorry to get off topic but I would like to see those articles. Link Please! :)

About the on-topic article I think this guy is trying to be helpful but is not doing a very good job. It also seems he likes to attack Disney alot.

Some of this is just crazy... There are two or three useful points, but the rest seems to be aimed at telling people to stay away from theme parks because they're dangerous or too crowded.

There were a few (very few) good points in this article. I completely agree with #1. I know that at KI a very small percentage of people pay full price... and those that do most certainly do not need to if they had just done a little homework like the article says. From there the article takes a steep decline.

My favorite quote, from attorney Adam Glick:

"Most of the ride operators are concerned about flirting with the opposite sex."

Really? Most? How irresponsible for the author to include this in the article, particularly with no evidence to back up this claim... which comes from an attorney who makes a living suing parks. This and other claims without proof to back them up... What a misleading and one-sided article. <_<

Loose screws? Like a loose screw will destroy a roller coaster. these things are 50x more reliable than riding in car on the interstate.
