Skywriter
I have made a discovery take a look ! Source:http://visitkingsisland.com/events/event_d...08&ec_id=15 From the looks of this photo his walk seems to have something to do with Diamondback and The Tower
Guest rcfreak339
Wow, I don't think he will wire walk from the top of the tower to DB's lift, to risky and dangerous at that height and length.
Beast1979
Not to mention that the tower is a good 100 feet higher then Diamondback.........
kittenpooh
I might just have to go see for myself... seems interesting
BoddaH1994
I can assure you that the Wallenda Walk last year was absolutely incredible. I'll definitely be there this year. Also, the height of a sky walk is pretty irrelevant as far as danger is concerned. If he falls 70' or 700' it'll like have the same outcome.... Skywriter
I really hope I can be there that day it seems like an amazing walk is planned !
catzdrummer09
I feel like height doesn't matter...I could see the Eiffel Tower/Diamondback walk. If I'm not mistaken, I believe I read somewhere that after this tour he was planning a Grand Canyon walk.

It does not matter how high he falls as it does not hurt you, but rather the sudden stop when he hits the ground. There is no way I would ever walk a tight wire, even if I was able to. I would bust my bottom even if it was 2 inches off the ground!
Thrill_Biscuit
Falling from 70 feet would take 2.1 seconds, with an impact velocity of 45.6 MPH. Falling from 700 feet would take 6.6 seconds, with an impact velocity of 120 MPH (terminal velocity). The only difference would be 4.5 seconds of relative painlessness and life-reevaluation. davidc78
Did anyone notice the date change on the web site. It now shows the 15th and not the 16th. I will be there on the 16th for the Run and was hoping to see this. If it is attached to any part of Diamond Back's Track they probably won't be able to have the ride going. It sways too much when the cars pass. That would make for a pretty unstable wire . I don't think they would shut down the ride for that? Maybe I am wrong.
