No not at all, I wouldnt put someone i hate on that ride, it is by far the worst wooden coaster i have been on. Not only is it painful, it is also boring, and very uneventful (besides the constant bashing of your entire upper body)

It does hurt a bit, but the only part that I dislike about the coaster is that the first chain is extremely loud.

But that is your opinion and you should keep that opinion until you want to switch it, which will probably be never.

I dislike that ride from start to finish. The chain lift is way too loud- you would think the ride used Morgan trains. The first drop is fun, but it all goes downhill from there (Terpy, NO.). From the bottom of the first drop through the rest of the ride, my spine gets beaten and beaten until I really wish that I just hadn't ridden. It's the only coaster where I ever even considered disembarking from the train before it arrived in the station! And, it sits at #73 on the list of coasters I've ridden, sorted from best to worst. How many coasters have I ridden? 73.

Actually, I love most of the woodies I've been on. I don't mind them being rough, but when they actually inflict pain, I don't see any reason to ride them. I don't touch a hot burner on the stove because it hurts. I don't stick my fingers in the electrical sockets because it hurts. I don't stab myself with a knife because it hurts. Why would I ride SoB if it hurts?

The Son of Beast and the Millennium Force are the two coasters that heighten my senses to an overwhelming state. In my opinion the best coasters are ones that for each rider personally produce a different and more intense experience with each ride. The question than becomes, "how awesome can riding this coaster get?" To directly answer the question, to date it is my favorite woodie (and my favorite at King's Island by default) but my favorite is Millennium Force overall.

Son of Beast goes 78 Mph with over 4 banks and was the first looping woodie ever to be built.

They removed the loop because of serious injuries such as, head injuries, spine injuries, and neck injuries.

Without the loop the coaster is ALOT safer. So no one talk about the coaster being able to hurt you really badly in the future.
