UnrealNightmare
Sorry for the delay in writing this report but ever since I got back from vacation I haven't had time to write it. This was one giant trip fit into 7 days. My family and I had one amazing week, and I hope this trip report can show the amount of fun we had. So here goes. We left Indianapolis around 10:00 P.M on Thursday June 18th. I tried to sleep in the van while it was my sisters turn to drive but I was just to excited about visiting a park I had never been to before. Friday June 19th We arrived at Six Flags Over Georgia around 6:30 A.M. Yeah I know we were really early! So we decided to pull into a parking lot and nap for a bit. After our nap we found the nearest Waffle House and grabbed a bite to eat. After that it was time to head back to the park. I only got to take a couple of pictures because it was really hot. I also made the mistake of wearing jeans. But here is how our day went. Park Entrance Mindbender from the parking lot. Best ride at the park by far! Holy Cow Batman!!! From left to right: My Brother, Aleesha, and myself. Perfect! The whole gang minus my mom. My ride list for the day was Goliath 2 Mindbender 2 (without getting off) Batman 1 GASM 1 (This ride hurt a lot!!) Georgia Scorcher 1 Ninja 1 Georgia Cyclone 1 (On this ride we rode front car and the ride op never checked my lapbar.) We didn't get to ride Superman because it was broken down. Yes I was extremely disappointed! We left the park around 5 P.M, because the heat index was 111 and the park was very crowded. So we packed up the car and on to Florida we went. We stopped in a hotel once we got into Florida because we were all extremely worn out from the heat and the days activities. Saturday June 20th We left around 11 AM the next morning and around 4 PM we finally made it into Tampa. Going over the Bay! From Tampa it was probably another twenty minutes to our condo. Once we got there we were ready to relax and enjoy the rest of the week in Florida. Madeira Beach Yacht Club (This is where our condo was) We spent the day unpacking and settling in. Sunday June 21st (Father's Day We woke up and we headed to one of my favorite place in Florida. It's a boardwalk full of shops and restaurants called John's Pass. If you are ever in the are I highly recommend you check it out. Aleesha and I outside on of the shops. Inter coastal waterway I think this would have been fun. The Pirate Ship One of the bars Later that night we took my grandpa out to a restaurant called The Pub for Father's day. After that we went home to get some rest for the next day. Monday June 22nd (Universal/IOA) We arrived at the park around 9 AM that morning and we were all pretty hungry so we purchased our meal deal tickets at Circus Mcgurkus. If you ever get the chance to got to Universal or IOA I'd advise you to purchase the meal deal. It is well worth it. We ate 5 meals and got unlimited soda for under 60 bucks for two people. The Hulk!! Fun Ride! We didn't get a chance to take too many photos this day. But don't worry we made a return trip on Wednesday after Sea World. Our ride count for the day. Hulk 1 Dueling Dragons 2 (One on each track) Spiderman 1 Doctor Doom 1 The Cat in the Hat 1 High in the Sky Suess Trolley Train Ride 1 Mummy 1 Twister 1 Simpsons 1 Shrek 4D 1 ET 1 Jaws 1 More to Come in Part 2! KI Kevin
You didn't even ride Acrophobia at SFOG?
UnrealNightmare
Like I said the heat index was 111 and I wasn't the only person there so I was going by what the group wanted to do.
KI Kevin
Good point. That ride looks sick though.

KI Kevin
By the way, my dad went to Virginia Tech so we're going to the kickoff game in Atlanta. I talked him into going on September 6th to SFOG. Any tips, recommendations, must rides, or anything else that might be nice to know?
The Interpreter
Absolutely. Ride The Georgia Cyclone in the very back seat, if you love violent, turbulent woodies. Don't miss Mindbender. Goliath is awesome, and well worth the wait. Perhaps the best food in the park is at Panda Express. And have a great time!
KI Kevin
The rides I'm most looking forward to are Goliath, Superman, Batman, and Acrophobia. And were you saying the Cyclone thing as a good thing, or bad?
The Interpreter
Yes. Terpy's favorite wood coaster, some days, is The Georgia Cyclone (on other days, it's Tremors at Silverwood in Idaho). Be advised, if you do not like strong laterals, violent changes in direction and a turbulent ride, you are better off riding in the front, or even not at all! I am not a fan of Ninja at Six Flags Over Georgia, to put it mildly. And, for a theme park, Six Flags Over Georgia has really good bumper cars. For a theme park. KI Kevin
Gotcha. One last thing. How far is it from the city?
UnrealNightmare
Like 10 minutes or so depending on traffic or how fast you drive.
Jasper
Can't wait for part two, I love seeing pictures of parks I have never been to through someone else besides a professional photographers lens'. Great photos.

KI Kevin
Thanks. I will without a doubt have fun on my Atlanta trip, unless of course the Hokies get destroyed and SFOG is closed.
