Dvo
In May of 2000 I visited Cedar Point on a cool, rainy day with one objective: Ride Millennium Force. I did, and to this day I still don't think any ride has compared to my first ride on it. Right away I set a personal goal of 500 rides on it in my lifetime. Fast forward nine years and a few months. I was at CP yesterday, and I went in with 96 laps. However I totally forgot that it was fan appreciation week... I did a light jog back to Maverick from the resort gate right at 9 am, and was able to get on the 4th train (2nd dispatch) of the day. Fantastic ride in the front seat. After knocking that out, I headed to Millie. I was SHOCKED to find that the line was not only all the way down the ramp, but it was out of the queue, and over the railroad tracks! And that's only platinum pass holders and resort guests. Right then I knew it was going to be a crowded day. Nonetheless I waited it out, and 20 minutes later I had 97 laps under my belt. I got off Millie at about 9:50, and ran over to get in line for TTD before the general public got there. It ended up working out.. being a single rider, I got on in about 15 minutes. Then I hit Power Tower and Magnum. By 11:30, I had knocked out 4 of the "big 5" at CP. Gotta love early entry. After Magnum I went back around to the back of the park to hit Skyhawk a few times. Easily one of my favorite flats. Great airtime. And then on the way toward the front, I decided to endure the 75-minute wait for Millie for lap 98... I spent a few hours getting on Raptor, maXair, and Chaos. Then my uncle showed up and I went to the waterpark with him for a while. Mistake! We went in the lazy rivers for a while with no problem, but after we were good and wet, we went on a slide only to find 25 mph winds blowing at the top of the slide. Freezing! Needless to say after that we left the water park for more riding. In the evening I noticed that Raptor was down mechanical. Not only that, they had cleared out the queue and proceeded to transfer all the trains off the track. I hope it's not a big fix... Anyway I got one more Millie ride around 6:00 for number 99. Of course this had me excited. Even with the crowds I knew I was going to do it! Around 9:15 we got in line one more time. And this time I insisted on doing it the right way... yellow train, back seat, lake side. 100 laps in, and I'm willing to bet 50 of them have been in this seat . Despite the crowds, it was a fantastic day at the point. Looking forward to my next 400!

DaveStroem
Congrats Dvo. We too just hit the Century mark although a different one. We rode the Voyage as our 100th different coaster this year. I have no idea how many laps I have on these coasters though.
