I would have to say that the funniest thing i've ever seen in the net would be an enormous amount of hail after a small hail storm struck Kings Island. I was in line for the front seat on Diamondback with Kawana for my hundredth ride and the storm came in. It lasted for about half an hour and as soon as it was over PKIboy pointed out that you could see a massive build-up of hail in the net from the station (Yes, that's how much hail there was). We all laughed for a good long time about that.

When we got off the ride we walked over to the net to see it up close only to see that there had been a security guard put in place to make sure nobody walked close to or under the hail in case the net broke.

I've seen a Viking in the net, I've seen a Park Map Hit Someone, I've almost been Killed by a Flying Cell Phone Exiting Crypt, I've seen A Lot of Cell Phones on the Track Spine throughout the ride.

Best things I have seen is an Ohio State basketball and a UK hat.

BTW I STRONGLY DISLIKE those teams

How can you hate The Ohio State University? Probably by not liking it. But I personally do like The Ohio State University, along with the University of Cincinnati.
