KIngs Island's new video page

Featured Replies

I know this isn't important but have you guys seen the new video page on pki.com? I just think its pretty cool, you go to ride and attractions and its right there.

Oh. And the pki.com link is not what CF wants you to remember. They what you to remember www.visitkingsisland.com because the "p" is long gone. Thank god.

Oh, and I hope I don't come off as a jerk ;)

I think they could have went with just kingsisland.com though.

Edit: Whoops, domain already taken. But there's always the option of purchasing it.

Oh, really? Would that be liking purchasing the rights to continue using Nick Universe? Doesn't the seller have some say in the price? And wouldn't the fact the domain owner is not even a US firm have something to do with the difficulties involved?

They could wait until they are out of debt to buy the domain.

Also, the company who owns the domain name is based in Ontario, Canada. Canada's Wonderland is in Ontario. So I'm pretty sure it's pretty easy for CF to convert from US$ to CAN$.

But www.pki.com does still work.

Money conversion is the least of their issues right now...

And pki.com does work, for now. For how long remains to be seen.

Thanks for posting and it is nice to see Kings Island making some changes to their website. Now, if they could just do something really unusual and IMPROVE it (I don't know, they could even use the templates from cedarpoint.com - I think they probably own the rights to those).

I'm just not at all impressed with the KI website and minor changes like this do nothing for me - I mean how old is The Beast video anyway (it has no seatbelts and skid trims), could they not have sound as part of the videos, how about a POV video (cedarpoint.com has multiple videos of many coasters along with wallpapers, photo galleries).

It really wouldn't take that much effort or too many nickels to do.

I wish they would do a POV for every coaster, including FOF. There's no legal POVs for many of KI's coasters.

did anyone notice that at the begining of the video for Vortex, it shows "The Vortex"?

i mean it's pretty bad when even the park puts the the in the rides name's
