The Interpreter Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 No, it's not about throwing pricing integrity to the wind, nor even about 10 nickels (and no, you don't get your nickel back): http://www.nme.com/news/50-cent/46519 Quote
jondrewfoo Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 i think its funny how they also are featuring leann rhimes. Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 And Sean Hannity. Some parks are just a great adventure! Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 JACKSON, New Jersey — 50 Cent transported nearly 30 buses from his old neighborhood in Queens, New York, to Six Flags Great Adventure on Saturday for no reason other than he wanted them to enjoy themselves. No community service was involved. No promises about getting good grades needed to be made. "I just wanted them to have a good time," 50 told MTV News about the group, donning Family Day T-shirts. "I don't want to preach anything. I'll leave the preaching to the preacher. I'll let my actions and activities I'm involved in speak for me instead of trying to convey a message that people won't receive from me. I'm not sure they're ready to receive that from me. It's cool when they see what I actually do."... http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1620379/2...0/50_cent.jhtml See also: http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1620377/2...0/50_cent.jhtml Quote
Colonel_SoB_fan Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Wow that cool, definitely a side not seen before from 50 Quote

TTD Maverick Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I love 50. Some people are uptight. DA BOMB Quote
SOB_TOM Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Its great that he is showing another side of himself, but how well does gansta rap fit in to a theme park? I would think they are separate worlds... Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 I take it you haven't been to Great Adventure? Terpy, who just HAD to! Quote

SOB_TOM Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Never have been, but always imagined Amusement parks as family adventures, not gansta adventures. Quote
Dalefan Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 The PBA Tour(bowling) did a summer shootout bowling tourny at Six Flags Great Adventure over the summer outside. The lanes, ball returns, and pinsetters were all real and normal sized. I think Six Flags did it to promote the parks rides and stuff. Six Flags did the same thing for the Six Flags St. Louis park in 2007. Quote
TTD Maverick Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I take it you haven't been to Great Adventure? Terpy, who just HAD to! You said the park wasn't like that anymore, Terpy. LOL, gotcha. Quote
TTD Maverick Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 getting banned, but this is extremely prejudiced and unnecesary. Never have been, but always imagined Amusement parks as family adventures, not gansta adventures. 50 Cent is not a gangta, that is a very prejudiced thing to say. Quote
