WildCat
I was at PKI on wednesday while I was in line for SOB the employees started to send a train up the lift and then let it sit. When I got off SOB and walked over to the Top Gun line it was closed. Around 6:00 pm when I was on the Tower I saw that Top Gun started to run again and it was open this time but no one was ridding it. Is there something going on with the coaster? Crazy31088
Of all the rides at the park, it seems to me like Top Gun is the one that has the most problems. There have been no less than three times when I've been in line for it when the ride closes for one reason or another...that's not happened before to me on *any* other ride. DanielRadsgrl
I have to disagree but it's opinion i think that Tomb Riader has the most problems.
Andy
Top Gun has never been down when I am there, you must just go on bad days I guess. I actually thinhk Tomb raider is the ride that has the most problems too.
DX8706
I've been in line for Face/Off twice when it has broken down, both times with my cousin who's never ridden it. I guess he's bad luck. Anyway that and King Cobra are the only rides I've been in ine for when they've broken down.
Xx2cansamxX
It was probably empty because no one ever rides it. You can walk on it almost everyday, anytime of the day.

RiSK
Since the 'incident' last year, seems the common misconception is downtime. Indeed, this ride is almost always up. Top Gun downtime is very far and between.

Beastfreak
It equals 42. The meaning of life. Paramount's Kings Island is owned by Viacom. Viacom is slowly taking over the world. Soon everyone will love the number 42.

BoddaH1994
Well, for those of you who don't know, which seems like it's just one of you. Last year, there was some sort of miscommunication between the maintenance staff and the ride operators. The ride operator did not know that one of the maintenance staff's trucks were parked way too close to track and during a test run, the train collided with the truck. Both were badly damaged. Top Gun opened a few days later using only the undamaged train. Good story, isn't it? -Ryan
Losing Streak
Back to the problems. TG was closed all day saturday and sunday, and it couldn't have been due to understaffing, as both were anticipated to be high attendance days. Clearly there must have been something wrong, especially to shut it down on two days when they were expecting a lot of people.
