Don't know about CedarPointer, but I did see it in person the other day, and I was very disappointed it wasn't open yet. I don't think it looks ugly. The footprint is relatively small and there's no landscaping yet, but the ride looks pretty cool. Near-vertical take off and a pure vertical drop with a couple corkscrews thrown in for good measure make for an exciting little ride.
