Name some songs that make you think of or envision a beautiful day at Kings Island or any amusement park.

for me i would have to pick

Mr Blue sky by the electric light orchestra

light and day, the polyphonic spree

Any song from Capital Lights' This is an Outrage album reminds me of the 2008 season. More specifically "Remember the Day" from that album.

There is ONE song that the second I hear it, I immediately think of ONE park. No exceptions. Every time, and it makes me very happy:

The park? Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk...not only does the song fit the place, but they play it nearly constantly!

And there is another that makes me think of a wonderful place in California (and another in Florida, etc.). Unfortunately that one makes most people groan:

Having worked at the MK, I can tell you that the constant background music played in the various lands embeds itself in your head, from the banjo music played in frontierland, to the calliope music in the former swiss family treehouse to the tropical music in the tiki room, I still remember it note for note!

Does anyone old enough remember the jingle the first year Kings Island opened? I remember the tune but only a few words, " Kings Island, come on get happy, Kings Island, come on get happy.

I also remember the jingle the second season: When you come to Kings Island you'll always smile, there's a whole lot of happy going on. There's a whole lot of happy, happy, going on.

I'm sure Terpy remembers.

Okay, that of course makes me add two more:

This of course reminds me of Six Flags, and of Coney Mall until recently!

The last reminds me both of Six Flags entry plazas and Kings Island's train.
