Cortney
I live in NC, but as you know I grew up in Ohio. We never went to KI or any park after school started. My aunt talked about possibly going to Carowinds next month (october). She had back surgery a year ago and we decided to not go this summer. But she talked about Scarowinds and possibly going. A Few ?'s 1) Can you do the Halloween stuff on General Admission? Are the tickets discounted this time of the year? 2) How are the crowds on the weekend? (can't recall ever going on the weekends....the worse time I ever went to a park was on x-mas day to Disneyland....it won't be that bad!) 3) Anyone who has had back surgery----how soon did you go back to riding the coasters? Thanks!

However after 7:00 I think is the time you can't re-enter. 2) Durning the day on Saturday shouldn't be too crowded howerver the closer to the haunts it gets the more jammed pack it will get. Some haunts lines will exceeded 2 1/2 hour wait. However around 11:30 the park usually starts to emepty out and you walk on or have a short wait for alot of things. 3) Not me but I would expect its at the doctors discreation. House
Friday Nights - You can make it throug most of the Haunts, the park is crowded but not near as bad as Saturday. Saturday - During the day you can get all your rides in by 2- 3pm if you are there at opening. Night time is SUPER crowded every line spills out of the que's. Saturday nite is best served getting in the few haunts you missed on Friday Nite. Sunday - The park is DEAD, re- rides on any coaster you want. The weeekend before halloween we are spending Friday, Saturday and Sunday there. I can't wait!!!
The Interpreter
So is your question about Carowinds or is it about Kings Island? There are a few differences in the two parks this time of year. If anything, Scarowinds is even more popular than Haunt. Be sure to confirm the park hours before you go, they are different than at Kings Island...For one thing, at Scarowinds Haunt, the only 1a.m. closes are the last two Saturdays. http://www.scarowinds.com/

Jasper
1.Yes, or at least at Kings Island you can. KI did away with the separate admission for FearFest a while ago I believe. 2.The crowds are usually pretty heavy from about 3 o clock and on. At night they can get to be unbearable. 3.I would ask you doctor if you have permission to resume your coaster riding.
Whales_Rock
How crowded do you think it will be this Saturday? I plan to hit The Beast and FOF a lot. We're going all day.
Diamondback FOF
I think it'll be pretty crowded, but hopefully not.
