October 7, 200916 yr If I had a million dollars, I can think of many, many things I'd buy long before I considered buying anything currently in the Nick Universe area of the park. I can even think of many charitable donations I'd make long before I bought any of that stuff. Actually, I think I might buy some of it and give it to a children's hospital. Even VIACOM might be okay with that... Oddly, I know I'd be more interested in buying Snoopy memorabilia than in Nick. I have often considered buying, but never have, one of those black t-shirts with the Peanuts characters facing away from you, having had a great day at Cedar Point. I saw those shirts this year, the ones that say "What A Day" I wish KI would get some of those.
October 7, 200916 yr ^I bought a "What A Day" Scooby & Shaggy snowglobe two weeks ago at Emporium for $1.06. I just had to have it!
October 7, 200916 yr Does this also mean that the old Nickelodeon items they sell in the gift shops will be on clearance perhaps?
October 7, 200916 yr Will be? I thought that virtually all of it had already been liquidated during the huge sale they've had nearly all summer...
October 7, 200916 yr I did not know about this sale or I must have just not seen it. This has been one year I have actually shopped in Gift Shops at the park and I found some good deals but I guess I missed the Nickelodeon deals. I guess I missed out then .
October 7, 200916 yr when i was there sat and sun all we saw of nick merchendise left was hats and they are 75% off. But there is alot of scooby stuff left.
October 8, 200916 yr I still always wonder what happened to the Smurfs in HB-Land. Either from the ride or on the benches. I'd be interested in buying one of those. ^I bought a "What A Day" Scooby & Shaggy snowglobe two weeks ago at Emporium for $1.06. I just had to have it! Well, can I have all the'' haunted castle'' scooby-doo themed decor? hehe.. Anyway I have that shirt with scooby-doo and shaggy that says "what a day!" I bought it in 2006 when paramount was still in control. Most of The Smurfs from'' The Smurfs Enchanted Voyage'' were sold to a Smurf Fan in New York. "In 1991 when the Kings Island Smurf display from the Hanna Barbara Land ride was dismantled, Kings Island contacted the Smurf Collectors Club International in New York. To make a long story short, one of our members is the proud owner of the Smurfs from Kings Island. This was a "Dream Come True" for this very avid and long-time Smurf collector. He displays the Smurfs around his swimming pool and they are a real "Eye Catcher."
October 8, 200916 yr I would pay big money for the Demonbat from The Crypt. Now THAT would attract attention!
