January 15, 201016 yr I searched and didn't find this posted anywhere yet. From Kings Island's Twitter: Heard this: The Pretzel Shop will be new for 2010 on I-Street. Hand rolled pretzels, pretzel dogs, fresh squeezed lemonade, ice cold beer.
January 15, 201016 yr Already posted here. "Search" is your friend, Ryan! Edit: Sorry, I just noticed in your post that you said you searched!
January 15, 201016 yr To be fair, it was buried in that thread on Planet Snoopy. As I said in that thread, it would not surprise me if this goes into the small counter service food stand that is surrounded by the Emporium on International Street, right near the Festhaus, and on the same side of International Street as Skyline Chili.
January 15, 201016 yr Lol. If only we could get a full service sit down restaurant inside Kings Island. Of course, that would likely cost a few nickels to install, not to mention the price to dine there!

Wasn't there a new (?) place somewhere around there that sold some kind of BBQ? It always sounded good, but just never stopped.
January 15, 201016 yr I don`t remember what the place I`m thinking about sold last year. I remember them having a sign out in the midway advertising the menu items. I seem to maybe recall that turkey legs were on the list, but honestly can`t remember what the menu was. Regardless, that food stand was open about as often as it was closed on my visits last year.
January 15, 201016 yr Yes, it sold barbecue...as did a stand alongside the path to Coney Mall from Emporium...the latter selling the same items as the soon to be pretzel shop...
January 16, 201016 yr And, though it certainly couldn't hold a candle to the ribs and such that were cooked outside in Rivertown years ago, the barbecue was...tolerable. Even the prices were not outrageous...by Cedar Fair standards, that is. The barbecue at Busch Gardens Tampa or at Animal Kingdom is far superior (and less expensive), but that's to be expected.
January 16, 201016 yr The Backyard BBQ is basically a pay to enter the picnic area and have your own picnic thing...at an odd time of the day. The food is good, the pricing low (for Cedar Fair)...I hope they repeat it. But it is not barbecue as in barbecued meat...
