KI Kevin Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Sorry, I'm color blind. What's the difference? P.S. YES I can see colors. I just get them mixed up. Quote
TylerRider Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Great to see a pictue of the progress! Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 So is that its name? Suspended kids coaster? What is it, a coaster for suspended kids? The Interpreter, who simply must.... Quote
CedarPointer Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Oooh, that looks really... nice? Is it supposed to be orange and yellow? That yellow obviously isn't the old yellow coat... Quote
PREMiERdrum Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Looks good. I hope that the train gets red fiberglass shells instead of the current green parts. Quote
coaster_junky Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Sorry, I'm color blind. What's the difference? P.S. YES I can see colors. I just get them mixed up. the support structure is being painted orange (used to be green), and the track appears to be staying yellow as before. Quote
KIBOB Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Its looking good, just look at the shiny new coat of yellow on the once faded tracks. I am just glad that it hasn't been repainted red, obviously Cedar Fair's favorite color. Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Except on the accounting books. I think Dick Kinzel has seen enough red for a while.... Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted January 22, 2010 Author Posted January 22, 2010 I actually thought it would be red and yellow. I like this much better. Quote
coaster_junky Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 i'm actually not that big of a fan of the new paint job, orange is my absolute, least favorite color, but i'm just hoping all goes well with the complete transformation of nick u. to Planet Snoopy(and still in shock that Cedar Fair didn't decide on red ). Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I find it a bit ironic that, given all the other orange of a particular shade that must be taken out, this is getting NEW orange. (When Cedar Fair bought Six Flags Worlds of Adventure, they found lots of orange there, too...as in Bugs Bunny's carrots. Curiously, many of them remained!) Quote
ahank Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Except on the accounting books. I think Dick Kinzel has seen enough red for a while.... This. This wins. Quote
TylerRider Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Do they still own Worlds of adventure, it isent Worlds of Fun now...is it? Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 They still own it...it is the closed Geauga Lake in part and Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom in part... Quote
KI Kevin Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 ^No.....WoA/ Geauga Lake are the same park....WoF is different. Quote
coaster_junky Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 yes, they do still own worlds of fun. a map showing all amusment parks, water parks, and amusment/water parks can be found here: http://www.cedarfair.com/ Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 And Cedar Fair has tried to sell the land on which Geauga Lake sat. Unsuccessfully. So far. Quote
DropZone99 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 The colors look good, but it may look just as bad next to Rivertown. For once I actually wanted a coaster to be red, or atleast a 'rustic' color. I wander if they will paint Beastie or Little Bill. Quote
coaster_junky Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 And Cedar Fair has tried to sell the land on which Geauga Lake sat. Unsuccessfully. So far. if the deal goes through with apollo, does it turn the unsuccessfully into a successfully? Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 No, I am sure Apollo will want that sold, if it can be sold profitably. Quote
tycoonrebel7188 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Oooh, that looks really... nice? Is it supposed to be orange and yellow? That yellow obviously isn't the old yellow coat... I thought it was new coat too, but then it dawned on me that it was raining. So I thought that maybe it was just that the track was wet, but I don't know for sure. Color looks too bright to be the old yellow I think. Quote
TylerRider Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Just want to say what I had seen. I just looked up Cedar Fair on Wiki, and it said that Spongebob 4D will continue Daily in all former paramount parks for the 2010 season. I know Wiki isent always true, but can I get some input on this. Quote
Creed Bratton Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I do like the new color scheme! Can't wait to see the rest of Planet Snoopy! Quote

Beast79 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I like the orange and yellow, can't wait to see the rest. Quote
Beast1979 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Looks good! Orange and yellow seems an odd combination too me, but it's good to see they're taking care of the kids area, not like when they bought GL and simply took out the Loony, but added no Toons. I can't wait to see what the rest of the area looks like, the Cedar Point Planet Snoopy was wondeful, I hope Kings Island gets similar treatment. Quote
CedarPointer Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Why isn't it red and black, since it's probably going to be themed to the red baron? But that would make sense. Quote
Beast79 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 With this color scheme I can see it being woodstock themed. Quote
Dvo Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 ^I agree. When I first saw the picture I thought of a Woodstock theme. Looks like the right color. Quote
