CedarPointer
http://www.visitkingsisland.com/events/event_detail.cfm?event_id=386&ec_id=15 Quick! What's the first thing you notice about that picture? Did someone seriously not notice that, or does one of KI's graphic designers just have a good sense of humor? (and yes, it is from 2010)

coaster_junky
wow , that's a big miss, is it really that hard for someone to find a picture that's current?

BoddaH1994
Please tell me that you're not making a big deal out of the fact that it's the old "Drop Zone" sign on the ride. It's really not that big of an issue...
coaster_junky
so if that's the case, why did Cedar Fair go and re-theme all of the paramount related things at the park?
Erosarrow05
How silly... I thought the image was going to be totally unrelated to Kings Island, or the article was going to have a massive grammatical error... (it did actually take me 2 minutes to realize what in the world the author of this post was even talking about to be honest) The graphic artist (more than likely working at an ad agency miles and miles away from the park) using a high resolution image that no doubt was professionally taken, and paid for no less was not one of my guesses however... Boy do I wish I had the free time to go over Kings Island ads with a fine toothed comb... Just as a side note - if i was proofing this ad in my professional life - the most noticeable 'oops' would be the text at the bottom not being the same distance from the blue ruled line... and thats even picky for me... BoddaH1994
It was necessary to rename the rides, but that doesn't mean that every time an archived photo from the Paramount days surfaces the clouds part and God himself LOLs at the world. It's just not that big of a deal...
Monroe
I didn't even notice until you said some thing Boddah. I think this failed thread should be closed.
