CedarPointer
Sorry if I forgot any. For me... 1. I would say BLSC was treated the best. Most of the original theming is still intact, and most of the stuff that isn't, they had a good reason for removing. Overall, I really like that ride, so I'm glad that it wasn't stripped of everything like... 2. ...The Crypt. Did I really need to put choices for that poll? I don't really need to explain my opinion on The Crypt...
Dbfan
1: Nothing. Stuff was removed from BLSC, nothing really added. 2: Need I say more?
kjkjkj
Treated best by Cedar Fair? I voted Adventure Express. All the effects that were no longer working weren't already working in the CBS days days. Cedar Fair did a nice job lighting up the final tunnel a couple seasons ago, so you could actually see the final guy. Worst? No questions about it, the Crypt. Coney Islander
The first question: For me its a tie between Adventure Express and Flight of Fear for me. Cedar Fair brought back the old Flight of Fear exit spiel... Every time I exit the train, I hear quite a few people laugh, and thats a good thing. And the Flight of Fear loading spiel is pretty good too... Adventure Express did get some new lighting that made the artificial water in the 'vat of boiling water' sparkle. Also, the stone drummers are lit up better than in years past... Actually, part of the reason I chose Adventure Express is that I have a deep feeling Cedar Fair will do more to restore the original effects... The Second Question: What do you think? Diamondback FOF
I thought IJST/BLSC rides the same way it always has. I don't remember it "swiveling".
The Interpreter
It was supposed to. If it ever actually did, it's news to me...
Diamondback FOF
Also, when it goes down through the "subway station staircase" before going up to the fire area, wasn't it supposed to "bounce" like you were riding down stairs?
The Interpreter
Indeed it was....and to my knowledge, it never did.
Diamondback FOF
I personally think that would be crazy to be riding and then suddenly *bounce klunk bounce bonuce klunk* Might be fun, but I don't see how it would successfully be pulled off. Had there been prototypes of that sort of thing in the past?
The Interpreter
I suppose to some extent the trick track on coasters like Shivering Timbers was sort of a prototype for that... To me, it always felt like a tracking mistake. And it has since been removed.
