CedarPointer Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Does anyone remember if Coney Skyline has the full menu that I-Street Skyline has (salads, desserts), or does it just have the chili/cheese/onion/bean assembly items? Thanks! Quote
DropZone99 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 The Coney Skyline does have some items from Int' St. Skyline, but not the desert items if I remember correctly. Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 And it would be a good time to point out that just because things were a certain way last year does not necessarily mean they will be that way this year. Heck, if they are a certain way opening day, they may or may not stay that way. Remember the all-you-can-drink cup offer? Or the changing food stand on International Street? Quote
lilbubba Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Menu items are changing this year, and I'm unsure if Coney Skyline is finalized. I can assure you that salads and other cold items will not be served because there is no good way to serve them there. So expect it to be the same as last year with cookies and the 3way, 4way cheese coney menu. Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Really? Several years ago, cold strawberry fruit cups (doused with whipped cream, UGH) were readily available at the Coney Mall Skyline...expensive, but available.... Quote
Fear the Four Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I tried this oreo ice cream thing at the Skyline on International street and I thought it was quite good! I forget the price though probably high. Quote
alluna Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I was thinking of compiling a restaurant review/best deals guide for the eats at Kings Island. Include menu's, best meal deals, best atmosphere, etc. Sounds like a big project, though. Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Sadly, in recent years the most delectable foods and reasonable values have nearly all been outside the park, in either the parking lot or beyond...and they wonder why per caps are down? Quote
TylerRider Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Ya save $2.50 for a can of pop if you walk to the guest pickup. The only thing is that sometimes it isen't on. Quote

Last year, the food was actually really good, fairly inexpensive, and there were free refills on soda. (of course, for the El Cheapo among us, I think the cheapest "real" food item in the park is Skyline's chili sandwich that's like $3 or so...) Quote
