TowerJohnny
I'm hoping to make my first trip to KI since 2002 this summer. I have a family of 8, so i have to do a lot of budgeting to make this happen. I'm curious if food shops such as Subway inside the park still offer things like $5 footlongs. Last time I was there there were no fast food type chains inside the park. I'll also take any tips or hints on other ways to save money. Not generic hints, but inside stuff that us people from Illinois don't hear about. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks...... Love this site! alluna
Here are some tips I put together last year that might help you out: Tricks for a Cheap Kings Island Trip I'm always looking to add to that list, so if you have a tip to share... Also, here on KIC there are some tips in the trip planner: http://www.KICentral...tripplanner.php
The Interpreter
There $6.00 6-inches Last year. It would not surprise me if pricing is dramatically different this year. Up OR down. Particularly if Mr. Kinzel & Co. get shown a Q door...
Justin_M17
Well, the list that Alluna posted pretty much covers everything you'll need to know. Although the article says to budget $40 for a sit-down meal inside the park, I would HIGHLY reccomend either packing some chips, sandwiches, and drinks and leaving them in a cooler in your car. Or even leaving the park to eat! There's a huge selection of fast food restaurants right around the corner from KI where you could feed your family for a fraction of what it would cost to eat inside the park. Fear the Four
One time I just left and went to Burger king. You get more food for less!
shark6495
heres my tips. Buy one of those refillable cups and share among the family. But the biggest thing is not to eat inside the park, especially if you have a family of 8! There is a Biggs just one exit south of KI(if you want to buy some cold cuts or ice to refill the cooler) or many fast food joints located exits north or south. The Interpreter
Of the food options in the park, based on last year's offerings and prices, I believe the Back Yard BBQ offered the best value for the money.
