KICoasterGirl
My friend is going to Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure this week and was wondering what places have good food. Also, her family is not big into thrills so what are good family rides and what are things not to be missed? Are there any good shows? HTCO
I don't know anything about the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter, so I'm going to skip that part. Marvel Area: Don't Miss- The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman. This is a great ride for all. Don't miss out on it. Suess Landing Area: Don't Miss- Cat in the Hat ride. Another great indoor ride all can enjoy. Jurrasic Park/The other Part I forgot the name to: Don't miss- Jurassic Park River Adventure and Dudly Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls. Two great water rides with good theming. Best show is probably Posidens Fury! DO NOT MISS IT. http://www.universalorlando.com/Amusement_Parks/Islands_of_Adventure/islands_of_adventure.aspx#page=Amusement-Parks_Islands-of-Adventure_islands-of-adventure.html&expID=13-5539&contentID=13-9248&seq=1 Sorry If I got all the names mixed up. Its been about 2 years since I have been there.
The Interpreter
Many will tell you among the best theme park restaurants in the world is Mythos at Islands of Adventure...it IS good, but I am a huge, huge fan of Finnegan's Bar and Grill at Universal Studios Florida. To quote from Uni's webpage: ...Start with the irresistible Irish soda bread with apple butter, then treat yourself to such authentic Irish dishes as Potato and Leek Soup, Bangers and Mash, Shepherd's Pie, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Guinness Beef Stew, Fish 'n Chips and more. Finnegan's also offers other menu choices including salads, sandwiches, burgers, fish, steak, and more. You can also enjoy a wide range of imported and domestic draft beers, bottled beers, ****tails and specialty drinks. Finnegan's 5-beer samplers, which include a souvenir glass, are a favorite. The pub also frequently features live music so you can sing along to all your favorite pub songs – or learn some new ones.... I ADORE Finnegan's. I have never, ever had even a lukewarm experience there, much less a bad one... Finnegan's

Delirium_Guy
^ I went to Mythos a couple of months ago, it was awesome!!! But you have to make reservations! Mythos is amazing but I'm also going to agree with Terpy bout Finnegan's! As for Wizarding World, Three Broomsticks is EXCELLENT! A little pricey, but the portions are large and the food is great! Please note that at Three Broomsticks, they have a breakfast, lunch AND a dinner menu....all different. Oh, about the family rides....Harry Potter & The Forbidden Journey truly is outstanding and able to be enjoyed by the whole family. It really lacks any intensity, but still provides an incredibly unique and fun experience! - Todd
