Pillsberry123
Instead of giving every last detail of what happened today, I will give my ride count and point out some things I noticed. Diamondback x2 Beast x2 Invertago x1 Flight Deck x1 Racer x1 Dodgems x1 White Water Canyon x1 - The Beast seems to be experiencing some problems. Every time I've visited it's either been shut down all day or shut down for a portion of the day. Today it broke down around 10 (we were sitting on the brake run), and around 1 or 2 the train was stuck on the lift hill. When I think of wooden coasters, I usually think of high reliability. Can anyone shed any light on what's been going on with The Beast this season? - This day seemed to be significantly less crowded than this year's previous bring a friend day. - Even though the park recieves higher crowds this time of year, the park remains spotless. Props to the sweeps. - Outer Hanks is my new favorite place to eat in the park with the exception of the buffet in Rivertown. The prices may be terrible, but the food isn't that bad. - There was an unbelievable amount of stupid people in the park today. While in line for Diamondback, two girls were trying to get a shoe out of the net above the line. Security was called and (I assume) they were removed from the park. - Both sides of The Racer were running.
pbkigi
Almost every time I've been there The Racer has actually been racing which is pretty cool.
IndyGuy4KI
On my weekday visits this year, the second size of Racer seems to open at 12. That has been my experience.
kiruler102
I was there today and was next in line for beast in second row. One of the restraints wouldnt lock so they had to get mechanics to fix that. then while in Vortex they went down to a 2 car operation because someone got sick on it so that made them stack trains and take longer because everytime they brought it into the station they would clean it. Then while in line for Drop Tower it broke down for about 10 minutes. I guess it was the heat to cause the rides to malfunction. and when i went to racer around noon it was only running red, but around 4ish they were running both sides. Overall i had a good day, a small complaints about the gift shops not having larger shirts, but not much i can do about that.
ahank
Overall i had a good day, a small complaints about the gift shops not having larger shirts, but not much i can do about that. I had a hard time finding a small-size yesterday. There seemed to be plenty of larger shirts available (in DB Trading Post at least). Pillsberry123
In thrill seekers I was trying to find a Diamondback shirt (I wear large) but all that was there was XL and one Medium. We were lucky to find a large near the back.
The Interpreter
As a person who has been nearly every adult male size in the past ten years, it always amazes me that the least common size most places seems to almost always be the one I am at the time wearing. It never fails. That being said, it's usually not easy to find XXL and XXXL's....
