RevengeofTheSmurfs Posted January 9, 2004 Posted January 9, 2004 Ok i know this topic seems Stupid but i need to know are book bags allowed in PKI and Boomerang bay or are they banned? i need to know because i havent been to PKI in a long time and iam plannin to go there this spring and summer i always take my bookbag with some Regular clothing in it so i can go to the waterpark my friends told me that bookbags are banned is this true?
coasterrz Posted January 9, 2004 Posted January 9, 2004 To the best of my knowledge, book bags are not banned. However, the park reccomends you leave all unecessary belongings in your car. Your bookbag will probably be searched upon entering the park when passing through the security check point and metal detectors. The park recommends keeping items like this in your car because they slow down the line when security has to inspect you bag. I do know that if you have food or drink in your book bag, that they will not let you take it into the park as no food or drink may be brought into the park. Otherwise, I believe that you can in fact bring in a book bag.
BoddaH1994 Posted January 9, 2004 Posted January 9, 2004 Every time I go up there with Italian Chef, he brings a bookbag. They usually take a look inside, but they had never tried to stop him from bringing it again as far as I know.
Beastfreak Posted January 9, 2004 Posted January 9, 2004 Its not banned... and its almost neccesary to have for some people who are visiting both parks. That way they can have change of clothes. Its really only the "unsafe" places that do no allow bookbags inside. Those are places near higher crime cities, which I think PKD might be one of those parks. I do know they had some new rules and such dealing with the problems of a knife fight in their parking lot last year.
SixFlagsMasta Posted January 9, 2004 Posted January 9, 2004 yea my lady friends ( ) bring bookbags all the time. one of them was dumb and brought a small pair of sewing scissors so they threw those away but they don't care. they will almost always search your bag though.
