marlfox_21
Well, this is more for information. Granted I have been to K.I. several times, I have yet to see the park in 2010. This will change on Saturday August 14th. I will be in the park, and I want opinions as to the best thing to look forward to in Planet Snoopy. ( I will be bringing my niece and nephew, ages 3 and 5 ) I have had a great summer, visiting Gatlinberg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Holiday World, and The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and Rainforest. This weekend is my annual stop back in Ohio to visit family and Kings Island, The Reds vs. Marlins and The Bengals vs. Broncos are on my list. ( As a Gator, I had to get tickets to see Tim Tebow! ) I will hopefully have time to let you know how the trip turns out.
bkroz
Boo Blasters is a fantastic ride! Don't pass it up!
muppetfan1999
Boo Blasters is a fantastic ride! Don't pass it up! Though don't be surprised if there are a lot of stationary figures though. The park (unfortunately) doesn't really pay attention to the effects in the ride. Also, the 3 year old and the 5 year old will love Planet Snoopy. The Interpreter
...and you should get there early. It's probably going to be a very busy Saturday (unless the weather is horrendous, which doesn't appear very likely, at least for most of the day). dare-to-fly
I wouldn't touch a Saturday, but I've gotten very spoiled by walk-on days!
KI Kevin
Boo Blasters is a fantastic ride! Don't pass it up! LOL. Boo Blasters was fantastic at the beginning of the season sure but hardly anything of the effects work anymore. It's a fail.
Pillsberry123
I would recommend starting with Action Zone right when the park opens. Saturday should have a decent crowd (but nothing like last Saturday!) Most of the crowds will sprint to Diamondback after the national anthem plays. You should get quite a few rides in Action Zone. After that, just walk in a clockwise fashion and you'll get to Rivertown around mid-afternoon. If you plan on staying all day, you'll have more than enough time to do everything you want to do. Your longest wait of the day will be Firehawk and Flight of Fear. They're both in the X-base area, so you might want to hit those before Action Zone or hit them later in the day. The temperatures are supposed to be high, so a lot of people may hit the waterpark after lunch. If you plan on hitting the waterpark expect a lot of standing in lines. Guest Millennium
I went on a Saturday a couple weeks ago and while it was packed, I was still able to get lots of rides in.
