CincyMan98
Hey. I'm leaving for Santa Claus right now, and going to Holiday World tomorrow. Guess what my problem is? The weather. You do not know how mad I am right now. Every single day this week and next week are sunny, except for the exact day I go. I mean, really? So, do you think this is bad weather? Do you think a 60% chance of storms is bad? http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/golf/wxdetail/47849:20?dayNum=1&
The Interpreter
The National Weather Service forecast for Santa Claus, IN for Saturday: Saturday Partly sunny with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 90s. Southwest winds around 10 mph. Highest heat index readings around 100. Saturday Night Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows around 70. West winds around 5 mph in the evening shifting to the northwest after midnight. Showers and thunderstorms come and go. It's when it says rain and heavy rain you really need to worry. chaddie
Does not mean anything. You know that forecast can change 10 times by tomorrow. Don't sweat it. Get there when the park opens and you will probably have hours of rain-free fun!
The Interpreter
Not only that but it is what it is.....None of us can change the weather...so go, enjoy. I've spent many a happy day when it was supposed to have poured...
CincyMan98
My parents are yelling at my paranoid self. I won't stop talking about the weather. Well, all I know is, I'll get at least four hours in of riding rides, and if it does storm at 12, I'm going to have to wait it out.
DaveStroem
HW will run the coasters in the rain. You might bring an extra change of clothes for the ride home though.
Go Browns
In my opinion this is a pretty good forecast for a Saturday trip to the park. Thunderstorm forecasts scare people away and potentially roll through fairly quickly as opposed to rain which can last all day.
