Beastfreak
There are going to be two dates for Season Pass/Family/Media preview dates this year. They are scheduled for April 3rd and 4th this year. This is the week before the official opening for the park.

SOB/Gun Steve-O
I find that difficult to believe, because the employment schedule doesn't have those days listed. I don't see anything about it on pki.com either. Of course, its always "subject to change." coasterrz
Will this also be the weekend when they give away mass tickets to radio stations? Even if it is, it will be better than the past couple of years when the park was only open for five hours. Even having it open on two days would help that problem. It looks like they wanted to avoid a repeat of this past season`s horrendous preview day. The line for Scooby poured onto International Street and headed towards the Eiffel Tower. However, the line for it was only about 45 minutes. That`s the best news I`ve heard all week! I wouldn`t have been able to attend opening day on Friday anyway because that is Good Friday and UC doesn`t get that day off and I pretty much have class all day on Friday! (The real bummer is my next break is spring break, the last week in March, and then Memorial day in May before classes end in June!) Beastfreak
I highly doubt the park will be open its normal operating hours these two days. Most likely open at normal time and then close around 5pm. They used to do this as a "dry run" day in years past.
coasterrz
But still, seven hours on two days is a lot better then trying to cram in all the pass holders and radio station ticket winners in one five hour night. That was just ugly!
CoasterKrazy
I can't decide if I really want to go to Pass Preview Day this year or not. Last year was a disaster, in my opinion. ( Partially my fault because I'd gotten my hopes up so much ) Of course, there is a magnetic pull that there would be a chance I might get to be on a ride when it breaks down. Last year, we missed Tomb Raider, Vortex, Flight of Fear, and brief Beast breakdowns. Very dissapointing seeing those lucky General Public walking down the cortex lift hill. sobgun
yea really. we gold pass peeps paid more for our SP's, we should get our own special days you didnt pay more, it was a free upgrade
andyatuc
I remember coming on the preview day with some friends using the free tickets associates received. Just a bad idea in general. What's funny about season pass holders is that they all share that same mentality of "I'm special, give me what I want or else!" which just makes that day that much worse to work let alone to play in the park. Needless to say I'm not going again this year! Andy
DegenRider
yea really. we gold pass peeps paid more for our SP's, we should get our own special days you didnt pay more, it was a free upgrade Actually its normally a 5 dollar upgrade. CYoung2003
I think its a free upgrade before a certain time. Usually its in May. I dont know if its like that anymore, but thats how I remember it.
crosscountry4891
Even thoguh there are 2 days, I think it will be just as crowded.
coasterrz
Actually, when you buy yoour passes in the fall it is a $5 upgrad. However, in the past, if you purchase your passes in the spring you do recieve a free upgrade. However, by that point in time, the cost of the pass has gone up by I think $10, so while the park says its free, you are still paying more than what the gold pass holders did in the fall. SOB_TOM
Ok. a bone to pick. You guys have how many pass nights? How many times to Gold pass holders get to ride ride before 10? How often do you guys get rides just for you? Need I go on? If you are really that perturbed about ONE or TWO nights out of the whole operating season, you need a life. Its one night. Im sorry you guys are so SELFISH that you are complaining about having radio ticket winners there! Tom, who is glad he doesnt have to deal with the GP anymore. You guys drove me outta rides! RyanA
All things considered, I see no need for a radio station ticket giveaway, since there's nothing new in the actual park(aside from some changes). I don't think it's even been anounced that they will be giving away tickets, and they don't need to promote any new rides until May when Boomerang Bay opens up. Then again, I could be wrong.
