jkahunas
I'm new to the forum and have only been to KI twice. I was at the park today and they promoted a 2011 Season Gold Pass for $49.99. I picked 4 up for my family. They do not include any visits in 2010. Seemed odd to me that they were offering this for a lower price than renewals for their 2010 Gold Pass Members.... - J
The Interpreter
Welcome to KIC! You were there for a private event. The employer's price for that private event helped to subsidize that season pass price. It is not available for that price to the general public. bkroz
And I don't think I need to tell you it's a steal! You just got season-long entry, free parking, extra ride time, and many more discounts and amenities for the 2009 price of a two-day ticket! Congrats, and welcome! Sophie2
I was there on Saturday, Sept. 11 and when I purchased my family's 2011 Gold Passes, I was given a ticket for 1 free day at KI for 2010. You needed to go to the end of the windows and pick up your ticket. I'm new to the forum and have only been to KI twice. I was at the park today and they promoted a 2011 Season Gold Pass for $49.99. I picked 4 up for my family. They do not include any visits in 2010. Snowman
Any chance of going to the ticket window this weekend and getting the 49.99 deal?
CoastersRZ
Remember that 1) Kings Island is NOT open this weekend (P&G has rented out the park both days this weekend, and the general public and pass holders are not able to visit the park.). 2) That deal was specific for the GE company buyout day at Kings Island. The current Gold Pass deal of $69.99 is the best deal you are going to get, unless you are attending one of those company buyout days. This is not a new process either, as KI has offered discounted pass prices on P&G day in past years as well. But you have to have the ticket to get into P&G day.
