King's Island hours

I have a question for any KI halloween veterans.

This is my first haunt. Mine and my wife's favorite perk of having gold passes this season was the early Diamonback/Beast ride times. With the arrival of the vertically challenged, blood soaked "entertainment" slated for this year, the main thing we will want to do is to get a few coaster rides in. I have tried to ask customer service if the gold passers can get in early like we have been, and if so will it be a half hour early on Friday and Sunday and an hour on Saturday. No one seems to know for sure. Also, are all the rides open the whole time the park is open?

Here's all I could find on KI's site:

Howl-o-Fest hours are 12pm - 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Planet Snoopy will begin closing at 5pm on Saturdays to prepare for Halloween Haunt.

Halloween Haunt hours are 7pm - 1am Friday and Saturday nights. Halloween Haunt is not recommended for children.

Please note: Kings Island will be closed to the public during the day on Saturday, September 25 for a private event. We will open to the public at 7pm for Halloween Haunt.

Thanks for the help. See ya Friday!

side question: Will the Festhaus be adding PBR to the beer selection to appeal to the crowd this spectacle should draw? Nevermind, I'm sure they'll just sneak their own in!

hahaha! PBR People go nuts over it at The Gardens, for some reason I always get stuck checking ID's when I work Security there.

As for the ERT I'm not sure. I don't remember any on Friday.

Kings Island's Gold Pass perks page says that gold passes are good for ERT any day the park is open except for Fridays during Haunt. Link here: http://www.visitkingsisland.com/public/admission/passes/gold_pass_benefits.cfm

Therefore, I would think that it is good for the usual ERT on Saturdays and Sundays, though I cannot say for sure. In the past, most of the major attractions were open during Haunt, not sure about this year. Hope this helps!
