Colonel_SoB_fan Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Saw this posted on KI Haunt you tube, very funny I think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99owQENl8YY&feature=player_embedded Quote
alluna Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 This was pretty amusing. They are professionals... but maybe not professional actors. It was cute. Quote
DropZone99 Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Kinda cheap looking honestly. And seems kinda bad for a video posted on an amusement park's channel. 'Blow' isn't a cuss word but just doesn't seem like a word that should be used to promote an amusement park. Other than that, I guess it was kinda funny. I do think it was kinda weird that Sunshine Day or whatever its called was playing- reminds me of Paramount. Quote
Cody Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Video would of been funny if..... THE GREAT PUMPKIN COASTER derailed!!!! Then mini-ambulance came and picked them up and took them away. hey! at least we would finally see a midget bleed! Quote
TylerRider Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 This is so funny! This was what is was thinking went I first heard of them. I love how is says: "You aren't FFFFFreaking tall enough. He really wants to say the other world. Quote
muppetfan1999 Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 They could've just put paper towels in there shoes. Quote
pbkigi Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 I just watched it and I thought that it was pretty funny. Quote
Dieseltech20 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Lol He squatted at The Vortex sign because he was actually at the bottom of the "pass" line. Yet he was wayyy below the line on Beast....both rides are 48". Quote
The Interpreter Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Perhaps after The Vortex scene was filmed, The Beast sign was temporarily lowered... Terp, who may be the only person astounded to hear the "frickin' " word in a park endorsed video.... Sigh. Quote
74Gibson Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Come on Terp, moral standards are so outdated. Quote
RailRider Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 It's Halloween Haunt, all moral standards go out the window. That's what I have learned over the past two years. Quote

I noticed that too and thought it was a tad inappropriate for a family-oriented park (Haunt time of the year or not) Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Let's hope that some parent doesn't try to sell their 7 year old on the idea of going to Kings Island next year and accidentally stumble across this video and accidentally show it to their kids. Their kids may pick up the F word from it. You know? "Frickin'" Darn, now I have to wash my mouth out with soap. Quote

KI FANATIC 37 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 ^ Its not a bad word for older people or adults. But this video is not appropriate for kids, and KI probably shouldn't have shown this video. But I still thought it was funny! Especially with all the midgets on Great Pumpkin Coaster and then you see Don in the back just sitting their! Hahaha Quote
The Interpreter Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 The KI of Cedar Fair seems to enjoy doing things this time of year that people like me find inappropriate. They seem to find it risque and cute, for some reason. Quote
jdawg1998 Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Hold on a second; it's not "kid" appropriate just because of a word that really isn't a swear word...a minor version of the other one. When people say it isn't kid appropriate, what do you guys mean by that? I consider myself a kid, yet I don't see how it's inappropriate at all. Quote
The Interpreter Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 I never said it was kid inappropriate....I said it was inappropriate...period...for Kings Island. But that's just me... Don't take this personally, you will be as old as me some day if you are lucky! Quote

Hahaha I have no problem with it but I'm 26 so I'm not to that age where I find certain stuff offensive yet. I agree they probably shouldn't have included the word in the video. Like Terpy said though, CF deems things this time of year such as advertising bleeding midgets as ok so this shouldn't come as a surprise. Quote
