TheBeastLover
Is KI doing something new here, or is it general maintenance. This was on KI's twitter page.
The Interpreter
It's called retracking....and it is done from time to time. To my knowledge, no reprofiling is being done...

Gordon Bombay
You can see a piece of steel track resting on the handrail in the left side of the photograph. This photo gives you a really good sense for the workmanship and skill that still goes into maintaining wooden roller coasters. You can see the layers they use to build the track structure and everything. These guys really have a unique skill set and put a lot of heart and soul into what they do. Some of the best around. I had the opportunity to spend some time with them in the past and do a photographic essay on them, which is now in my portfolio here. I'm really glad to see KI posting more behind the scenes type photos like this. I think it gives people an appreciation for what goes on in the off and regular seasons and is a neat way to take advantage of social media. Dieseltech20
Nice to see. I noticed during Haunt that the station and exit rails had new paint as well.
