I thought The Beast was pretty rough when I rode it at night.... It seemed to move faster too.... But overall, it was a good ride, I especially liked going thru the tunnels during the ride......

SoB was the roughest coaster there.....It shook so bad that I got off with a sore kneecap and a headache........

What are your thoughts on the roghest coasters there? (I mean, what coasters do you think are rough?)

Not only is SoB the roughest coaster at PKI, it is the roughest coaster I have ever been on. I am happy to hear that PKI must be aware of this and is trying to fix the problem this off season.

In all reality, the roughness of SoB is taking away how unique this coaster really is. Let's hope the engineers can find a way to improve it so SoB will be considered one of the great wooden coasters.

I have to say it's a toss between Vortex and SOB. Vortex, everytime I get off of it I have a head ache, because my head has hit the shoulder harnesses so many and time. SOB, it's just painful to ride. Last time I was on it, I broke my nametag (which was inside my purse), because my purse was on my lap and my lap hit the restrant so many times.

Well Flight of Fear was the Roughest till they fixed that and also the Kings Cobra was very Rough in the frist years of it running. So I will have to go with Son of Beast as the Roughest in the park. Mean Streak was not that bad if they would take out all the breaks on the frist hill going down but we are talking about PKI so I will close with that.

I was scared of the coaster at first, but that was b/c of the height of it..... the only thing wrong with the ride was in fact its roughness...... I complained of a headache when I got off (Nate probably remembers) and he said he wouldn't go on it again b/c he usually doesn't go on it more than 1 or 2 times when he visits PKI.....

It was always rough!

King Cobra rough? How so? King Cobra was always one of my favorite coasters in the park. I probably rode King Cobra 100 times plus and I never thought it was rough. It used to hurt my legs after exiting the loop, but hey that was the g-forces.

Also Vortex isn't rough in my opinion either, Vortex is a great ride even though it's going on 17 years old.

Son of Beast, has it's good days and it's bad. I have heard they were suspose to do alot fo work to SOB during the off season, so i'm anixious to give it ago this season, and see how it's running.

Beast can be pretty rough if your ride the back seat, that ride throws you from side to side, and not that i'm complaining, but In my opinion I don't think any ride should shake you so bad, that your back hurts when you get off the ride.

Sorry for not specifying..haha. i forget that most people dont know my predicament..haha...but i can say it again...

I am a pretty big fella (7'1") and I had to be crammed into the King Cobra whenever I rode it. So for me every little bump or jerk was quite painful!

This is just another example of how the expierence of a ride is completely different for every single person who rides a ride
