March 2, 200422 yr Even tho' I am not allowed to ride Delirium, I still think it is an attractive ride for the park to have, and I have heard nothing but Rave Reviews from everyone who has ridden the ride. I was at Paramounts Great america's webpage and this is what there "Delirium" looks like: http://www.pgathrills.com/attractions_ride...d.jsp?id=105590 I think ours definilty looks nicer, but his one may make you a little more nautious. Can anyone say the differences bewteen the two? Other than the obvious physical differences. Steve
March 2, 200422 yr Looks to me that there isn't much difference other than the seats face inward on the one at PGA. Also, I believe that PKI's Delirium is bigger. Other than that, I believe it does basically the same thing...pendulum swing while the cars rotate.
March 2, 200422 yr Why aren`t you allowed to ride Delirium? Are you the one that is too tall to ride it or am I thinking of someone else? Anyway, the logo for PGA`s is slightly different and does not feature the tornado like PKI`s. Also, I believe that PGA`s doesnt swing up 120 degrees to 10 and 2 o`clock like PKI`s. Other than that, the slightly smaller size and the inward facing seats are the only differences. I`ve never been to PGA so I can`t compare the two.
March 2, 200422 yr Theirs is much like the one they put into Knott's Berry Farm, Hershey Park and many other parks. Its just a smaller version, doesn't swing as high, doesn't seat as many, not as fast either. Haven't ridden any of them, maybe I will this weekend at Knott's Coaster Solace, so I can't compare the ride experience to that of Delirium. However, I have the feeling Delirium will take the cake on that issue.
March 2, 200422 yr yes ours is better, but you have to understand that there's is a totally different design. There's is a Chance Revolution, ours is from Huss. Bigger and better, i've been on both and yes Delirium owns.
March 2, 200422 yr PKI was the first to ever have this type of ride. Right? If you mean a Huss Giant Frisbee, yes; however I'm not sure if King's Island is the first part to have a giant swinging machine very similiar to Delirium. I tried to find pictures of the Chance Revolution, but came up with a dry search - I didn't find anything. Are the two products nearly the same?
March 8, 200422 yr Imagine our Delirium having inward facing seats... Still swinging up at the same height... (the original frisbee has inward facing seats)
March 8, 200422 yr PKI's is the 1st Huss Gaint Frisbee yes. KMG afterburner is what you should look for if you want chance revoloution its the same ride. Regular frisbees seats face inward.
March 9, 200422 yr NO! 7 feet tall?? You miss out on all the rides, no? That would seriously BITE. MommaBeast
March 9, 200422 yr Mailman that posts are here everynow and then is 6'8 he to knows tallness can be the suck. I feel bad for ya guy's!
March 10, 200422 yr Man being tall. Just think waiting as a young kid just to be tall enough to get on that big kid ride. Now being to big my heart goes out to you guys im sorry.
March 10, 200422 yr I rode the KMG Afterburner last year... It kinda did make me a little sick. For some reason our Delirium dosent make me feel even the slightest bit sick. I totally like our Delirium better because it swings higher, faster, and it doesnt cause you to blow chunks... although I have seen a few pukers on it this year.
March 13, 200422 yr I remembered in a past thread (which I couldn't find) that someone mentioned that another Huss Giant Frisbee was being contructed. Well indeed I found the ride and place. It's called "Sledge Hammer." It's located in BOBBEJAANLAND Lichtaart, Belgium. What do you think of it? Does ours look better? http://users.skynet.be/pretparken/bjl/bouwsh.htm ^That's the site...scroll down to the bottom for finished pics.
