The Interpreter Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 ...If anyone can do it, Story and Burke can, said Dick Kinzel, chief executive of Sandusky, Ohio-based Cedar Fair Entertainment Co., the largest amusement company traded on the NYSE. "They make a great team," Kinzel said, "with a financial person, Burke, who came out of Wall Street, and an operations person, Story. Today's business needs both."... http://www.newsok.co...eadlines_widget I'll let you all digest this, other than pointing out two things: * The largest amusement company traded on Wall Street is SIX, which is ironic in this context. (A company where Story and Burke largely caused the recent bankruptcy). * Today's business needs an operations person and a finance person. So, when did Mr. Kinzel come to that revelation? Pretty good Q if you ask me.... Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I'd like to know how they got Kinzel's comments in the first place. Is he friends of theirs? Seems he would be a little busy dealing with his own Q's. Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 1, 2011 Author Posted March 1, 2011 Perhaps he is laying the groundwork for his post-retirement career? He certainly was no friend of those two when they ran Six Flags nearly into the ground... Quote
