Monroe
Good to see Alberto in the US again, will have to make adjustments to the summer schedule to visit NY for fun. It has certainly been too long.
The Interpreter
Same here...same here. The Wonder Wheel opened today, too: http://brooklyn.ny1....-for-the-season Video at that site....(and you feel odd when you know about half the people in the first train of the season!) Monroe
If only the people on this site really truly understood the term "Infatuation". (Not putting any one down here, but the "enthusiasts" in NY are true to the core, well beyond any one here.)
CoastersRZ
I actually had an inquiry sent to my Coney Island Central email address a couple weeks back. The person was clearly a little confused, because they were asking me for permission to use pictures of the Wonder Wheel for something! Go figure. Needless to say, she got the Coney Island parks mixed up.
The Interpreter
Especially since there is no park in Brooklyn named Coney Island, and that was just as true a few years back as it is now....Deno's, Astroland, Steeple Chase, Luna Park and on and on...but no park called Coney Island in Brooklyn...it's a geographic name, not a park name. See, for instance: http://www.rcdb.com/5313.htm
Vortex
I hope those Cyclone trains don't get replaced anytime soon.
The Interpreter
Rumor is they are scheduled for replacement very soon. If you have ridden them, you might know why. To say they are cramped is to be very kind.
