Route 21, Gurnee. You can purchase tickets to the amusement park online for Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8, at $19.81 each, priced to mark the year the coaster was built. It has a 147-foot drop and travels at 66 miles per hour.... http://newssun.sunti...e-turns-30.html Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Always nice to see an article like this. Thanks Terp! Quote
The Interpreter Posted May 7, 2011 Author Posted May 7, 2011 It was also interesting watching Jim Reid-Anderson and Al Weber, Jr., throw pricing integrity to the wind. I can only imagine how busy the almost always swamped SFGAm will be this opening weekend! Quote
Dvo Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 I live about 45 minutes away from SFGAm, and I maybe go once a year. The crowds are insane, a lot of that due to the large Chicago market. That being said, I do really like American eagle. Great racing woodie (although the actual race is almost never a contest). Now if only they could shorten the entrance queue just a little... Quote
