Longest/Worst walk-around?

Featured Replies

What rides do you think have the longest or worst walk-around from the exit back to the entrance of the queue if you wanted to re-ride? Magnum, Power Tower, and I305 all come to mind for me.

Son of Beast was pretty long I think...or was there a cut through back to the begining? I know TG has one but I am not sure about SOB...

I don't remember SOB's at all...it's been so long since I've ridden it...and I for sure did not do a walk-around.

Top Thrill Dragster anyone?...

I also hate how its such a long walk to get from MF and Maverick to TTD. It's quite the hike.

I would have to say Raven and TTD. I actually ran around those two for re-rides multiple times during ERT sessions this year, and had to pace myself because they were so long.

All the ones mentioned above are just a short walk in the park compared to The Boss at SFStL and American Eagle at SFGAm. What is worse, it is just as far to get off these rides as it was to get on them.

If I recall correctly, there was a ramp which led you to the on-ride photo area then near the entrance. I don't think it was that bad, but again I might be incorrect.

I too think Magnum and TTD are quite long, but there's nothing wrong with getting some aerobics in :D .

A bit of exercise is good for everyone! I personally enjoy those long walks... (especially FD and its steps) so not really any of them get to me.

I don't remember Boss too well, but I do remember having to climb up and down stairs over the railroad tracks.

I recall Thunderation at SDC being a long hike - and even with empty rows you had to walk around. Although I think it was more the length of the queue that was the problem

Flight Deck.

I agree. At least with the White Water, you are walking through trees, and can look around. Flight Deck is just a dismal haulass to the bitter end.
