PKI_Diana
If I see you throw something off the tower, and I catch you if you're over 13, you're outta the park (escort by security) if youre over 18, you might even be prosecuted......since it is a state law...Ive caught so many people throwing things or spitting its not even funny, apparently people don't listen to what we say in the elevator. Ugh.
PKI_Diana
p.s. As a Tower supervisor I DO have people tell me they missed things.......Its not as uncommon as you may think....

Return_of_Yogi
HERES THE THING...........its not a Effin ball of spit, or penney. ITS A FREAKIN POP CAN, which, one he would have had to buy either, in employee zones, or outside of the park, and brought it in, and two, very well hid it in his lap. BUT IM SO FREAKING SURE THAT HE WOULDNT GET CAUGHT. And "Da ripper" if ya want to talk me to me like boo boo talks to me, then ya better get back to school. DA RIPPER
Smarter than the average bear, Glad to hear your claim to fame Yogi. I'll keep that in mind about you , Shame to waste such vass knowledge in and amusement park. Beastdude ... attendent up there, the discussion is on dropping anything off the top of the effel tower, And when you drop something off say a tower you drop it off the top not the bottom, so the attendent that is watching for people throwing things off the tower would be at the top, most likly PKI Diana , keep up the Good work Diana. I'm no Havard Graduate, Don't claim to be, Sorry if I confused you beastdude Hey Beastdude I seen that one coming before I added the post. I'm glad you got a laugh out off it Dane, My post was intended as a joke , Seems people here are more incline to attack than have a little fun. Next time I post something I'll wear kevlar. And stick my little finger out before I type.

PKI_Diana
The funniest and strangest thing I've seen at PKI, happened all the time back when I worked on the Flume (Wild Thornberries River Adventure as non-employees call it). I would welcome people back from the ride, and they would exclaim that they didn't know that the elephant at the end squirted people! I remember thinking, "Well there's a long line today.....Do you ALWAYS put your body on a ride that you have NO IDEA what's going to happen? I mean, come on, it's not hidden like TRTR, it's RIGHT THERE." Those people gave me the giggles, and the wanderings. I have tons of stories that are humorous, about guests, and of course about employees....catch me sometime, and I'll share the likes of them. beast04813
This morning when I was waiting for the rest of the rivertown people to meet at log flume one of those crazy geese was flying over the flume hit the side and fell into the water it was funny

beastmaster
The funniest thing I have seen at Kings Island is when I was waiting in line for Face OFF. As the ride went into the corkscrew a mans wallet came flying out. As it came down, it exploded with money. It was funny watching the money slowly fall to the ground. All I can say is that must have sucked!

Beastly Terror Rider
My neighbor told me this story. One time he was at PKI when The Beast first opened and the beer gardens were all over the park. He got a beer in a square cardboard cup and then decided to ride The Beast. Well, he snuck on the beer and sat in the front seat. While reaching the top of the lift hill he still had most of his beer left. And when the train started getting speed going down the hill, his beer flew out of the cup still keeping the shape of it, and it hit the people in the back seat. Well, they thought it was puke and started barfing up lung butter everywhere. I'm not sure this is true (he may have had too many beers that night). That's a classic to me, though. DeliriumDreamer
Like I said earlier, that's just plain gross. wanna know something funny that I did? In August, 2000, my friend Emily and I decided to hit a few simple rides while we were visiting from the Maccabi Games (aka: Junior Jewish Olympics). She hates large rides, so I wanted to introduce her to Adventure land Express. Funny thing, though, the scenery scares the bajeebies out of me, and they still do. She enjoyed the entire ride, while I shut my eyes tight and covered my ears going up the final lift. All of the sudden, the ride stopped in the middle of the lift. She yelled over the rock people, "Hey that was fun, does it go backwards now?" I screamed, "No!" while still clutching my ears and shutting my eyes. We were stuck in that stinkin hill for 20 minutes. In that time, we heard the same recording at least 15 times, and when the recording ended, all we heard were the sounds of the metal arms of the rock guys squeaking... "You will pay... SQUEAK...squeak...SQUEAK...squeak..." Since then, I never stepped foot on that ride.

dxrunner
Yesterday at the start of my shift Becca and I were walking down the exit ramp to Topgun when a custumer was kind enough to point out that "Hey, you kids are going the wrong way if you're wanting to ride that thing." Me and becca just looked at each other, laughed, and kept walking.

coasterdime
I saw something Sunday (5/16) that while not funny, was unusual. There was a guy boarding Beast. He put on his seatbelt, pulled down his lap bar, and then waited to be dispatched. The whole time, he was smoking! I've witnessed people smoking in line hundreds of times in the past 28 years, but this was a first for me. The guy checking bars was running down the train doing his job, checked the guy's restraints, and continued back. A couple of rows later, it hit him. He went back to the guy, and demanded he put it out. The guy was pi$$ed, and angrily put the cigarette on the train's running board.
