Today the Los Angeles Times reports Cedar Fair is planning to build the large wooden coaster which has been delayed on numerous occasions at Great America:

Wow. Just what KI needs! Too bad it is going into Great America.

considering it's been 10 years since they've gotten a coaster, period, I think it's okay that they're getting the wooden coaster and not us. haha

It will be great for them, and really with the Stadium in their front doors, I might also see them adding a knotts type free space out front with shop's , food vendors, and more. Kind of like Knotts, but I do know under Paramount they were planning a village type deal outfront.

Now that Cedar Fair is keeping their park outside San Fran it could be their next big investments, to make it a great attraction, for guests, and a great neighbor to the 49ers. Time will tell, and hopefully it will work out.
