Speaking of Fast Lane, isn't the park running a Gold/Platinum Pass promo this year where any of those Pass holders can get into Fast Lane for a reduced price?

The only time I had a short wait on Firehawk was during the latter end of the season, in August (when many of the kids start going back to school and the crowds are lighter on weekdays). Otherwise, like others have said, I'd advise trying to get in line as early as possible, especially if it's a hot day because that line is brutal in the sun. Hope you luck out and get to ride it!

If possible go during the week while schools are still in session other than that hit Firehawk first thing in the morning along with FOF.

i found the one and only time ive rode it was when it malfunctioned a bit with the restraints which made me weary of riding it but i trust their mechanics to ride after an inspection and fix! so if it by chance breaks down(which is fairly often from what ive heard here) then go and wait it out because I only waited about 5-10 minutes after they opened it back up.

Honestly, the best thing to do is go straight to x-base after ert. If Firehawk isn't open yet, keep riding Flight of Fear.

If they woudl have opted for the 3rd train I actually think the ride wouldn't be horrible at capcity.

The third train was cannabilized in 2002, CF never owned the train in working order.

Even if it had a third train the wait would be horrible, the main reason it's always so long is that the mechanism that lays the cars back in the stations always has problems.
