Old Kings Island pics

I think those were posted somewhere on the boards awhile back already. Still neat to look through tho.

The Scooby Doo in the next-to-last picture is terrifying. Other than that, thanks for sharing!

cool pics. 1 thing i noticed is in the descriptions many of them had the opening days listed and they were all in early april too bad its not still like that

I love the photos, thanks for posting. My uncle, took his 8mm movie camera on The Racer, and filmed the action. of course he had problems holding the camera still. I also think he filmed a little around the park, and maybe filming a show. Sorry I can't recall. He had it transferred to VHS, back in the 80s. Sadly, I don't own a VCR any longer. I need to ask him if he still has it, and maybe get it transferred once again to DVD.

I will keep you guys posted.

There are now more public operating days every year than were offered throughout the 70's, 80's and 90's. Daily operation also now begins earlier than ever before in mid May.

I think that it would be very cool for KI to make there giant entrance highway sign back to 80's-90's style lettering like this pic...

Only for the anniversary season.

I assume you're talking about the billboard in the last shot, and yeah, that would be cool. A lot of the old signage inside and outside of the park was really cool - great if they could bring some of that back.
