Racer is still my 3rd (sometimes 2nd) favorite coaster in the park. Here's to 40 more years.

I miss the backwards racer.

It is definitely one of my favorites. Nothing beats pure air time, and then pulling in and looking over to see you beat the other train.

Sad thing is, last year on opening day when they only had one side of The Racer operating, the line was probably getting close to that long. Pictures like that fascinate me, as I love looking at queue lines and I love old historical pictures of KI. Thanks for the share!

I waited in Racer lines that long many times during my stint in the early/mid-80s.
