April 25, 201214 yr This banner is now up on Camden Park's website. Does anyone else think this looks like a Delirum type ride?
April 25, 201214 yr my vision would be that it is on a half pipe track and spins and goes back and forth, but now that i look at the picture more, you could be correct. I dont think this is worth ditching the hot cat for :/
April 25, 201214 yr Looks like a small zamperla Delirium-esque ride. You can see the support to the left of the photograph. Camden Park is my favorite park of all time.
April 25, 201214 yr Author I had planned on going on opening day, but I think now I'll wait to the new ride opens before making the trip up there.
May 2, 201214 yr I think that this will be a great addition to Camden. I am going to apply for a job there tomorrow. Wish me luck!
May 5, 201214 yr It's really nice to see my old stomping grounds of Camden Park getting a new attraction! I have much love for this park! I'll be visiting this summer
May 8, 201214 yr I got the job and I am working in food. I started Sunday at Boardwalk Cafe and today, I was in the Sugar Shop. Who knows where I'll be on Thursday. I like it a lot! It's just fun to be around all those kids and watching the fun that they are experiencing. It's going to be even better when I finally get to take my family on a trip there. I know my boys will love it.
May 8, 201214 yr So I guess all the conspiracy theorists is that Camden will stay and no to WALMART, or they would not have made a major investment:
May 9, 201214 yr Hello all, I must admit, I have been a lurker on this site for about a year and finally decided to join! I live in the Huntington W.V. area and travel to Kings Island and Cedar Point often! As a child, I have fond memories of my Grandparents taking all the kids to Camden Park. I would hate to see a big corporation like Walmart buy them out. As for the new ride, it looks like a smaller version of Delirium. I found a video here: http://www.herald-di...to-get-new-ride
May 12, 201313 yr I rode it, it is pretty much a smaller Delirium, but it still delivers the same g- forces and effects as Delirium.
