0-120
Sure everyone has their own must do's at King's Island. Riding The Beast, having some LaRosa's perhaps, but yesterday I found something new that I will always do. Hidden (not really) by Vortex is the most amazing burger I have ever had. (better than 2 slices of pizza) The old-style gas station housed the most amazing $5 Bacon Cheeseburger Patty of goodness to ever grace my lips. Even the fries were good. Then after getting your meal, sitting outside and watching Eagles, laughing at some of the crazy little kids snap like madmen. I found the new must-have for my visits. DeliriumDreamer
Ah, I see you've found Tuckers. Sounds nice. I'm still devoted to my fav eatery at pki, potato works.
fryler87
Tucker's has THE B-E-S-T popcorn chicken I've EVER HAD. It's a must-do for me whenever I go to the park. Price may be high, but it's a vacation from the food ordinary!
teenageninja
Wow Tucker's was open? They do have some of the best food in the park, but 5 dollars is a bit much.
PKI Homey
Wow Tucker's was open? They do have some of the best food in the park, but 5 dollars is a bit much. Five dollars a bit much? Have you been going to PKI for very long? The food has always been expensive. Last year at Cedar Point, I ate at a 50's themed burger stand which cost nearly $13.00 for a burger, fries, and a drink. This is normal. The next day I ate at TGI Friday's located in my hotel and ate for about $10.00 and the food was ten times better. DA RIPPER
The best deal i've figured out is at the montgomery inn near the nichlodeon area. get the half slab ribs and chicken meal with chips and split it with someone , it's like $8.95 and $2.50 each for a drink. for a total of $7.00 each the meals big enough for 2 people. BarbQ is better than a burger any day.
coasterdime
The only two places I ever eat at the park are Tucker's, and Wings. Every so often I'll stop at the Chinese place. Their portions are HUGE, and two of us can eat one entree. At Tucker's, I just stick with the cheeseburger, and sometimes the popcorn chicken. The place smells great when I'm riding the Eagles. BoddaH1994
I used to be devoted to LaRosa's, but after 3 years of loyal employment there, it simply doesn't fill me up anymore. Recently, I've been doing the burger/fries at the Festhaus. I'll have to check this place out, though!
gabelogan99
Last year at Cedar Point, I ate at a 50's themed burger stand which cost nearly $13.00 for a burger, fries, and a drink. This is normal. I ate at the same place when I went a few years back. For dinner, that is. For luch I had a hot dog in the CP equivalent of rivertown. PKI probably has the best food of any park I've ever been to though. With Busch Gardens, TB a close runner-up. Unfortunately, I haven't had a lot of the food at PKI because I always eat at the same two places: Rivertown La Rosas for lunch (I get pizza there) and for dinner I go to Festhaus and get a bacon cheese burger/fries and sometimes a little slice of choco cake. Snack places vary, but it's usually over to Huckleberry Dairy for a smurfcone sometime between luch and dinner. This Tucker's sounds intriguing though....Maybe I'll check it out on July 8 when I make my trip to PKI. I've got to check out PW too some time but I can't really think of where that is at the moment...
coasterrz
By PW I assume you mean Potato Works. PW is located between the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad and Tomb Raider: The Ride in Rivertown.
